Slide Your Way, Right into My Maximus!

Maximus is a water-based sensual lubricant from Bodywise Unlimited, the same makers of everyone's favorite, Liquid Silk. It can be used for a variety of activities and works well for PIV sex, anal sex, hand jobs, masturbation, and of course it’s safe for use with most toys. This lube allows for a silky smooth glide and could even be used as a massage lube.

Maximus can be used safely by both men and women, and will not leave you sticky or greasy after use. Maximus lube has a short simple ingredient list but it does contain parabens. However, in these type of products, very small amounts of paraben are used so there is no need for concern unless you are allergic or sensitive to a specific ingredient.

Maximus is a clear lube with a thick jelly-like consistency. It is somewhat gooey when you pump it out of the bottle, but it feels silky and smooth when rubbed between the fingers. This lube is really thick so it does a great job of staying where you put it. You could literally pump out a drop on the top of your hand and then swing your arm around in the air and it won't move. This makes it absolutely perfect and by far the best (I've tried) for anal sex, as it does not require reapplication.

Maximus does not have any scent which is nice for those who are sensitive to fragrance, and it really doesn't have much of a taste either. It didn't bother me at all when I licked it off of my husband's cock.

This lube is amazing when it comes to staying power. Even just applying a small amount to the needed areas, will take you through your entire session. The only time you may need to reapply is during a heavy anal session, but that too is pretty unlikely unless you're going at it for hours. I love this lube because it doesn't leave me (or my hubby) sticky or greasy after use. Maximus comes conveniently housed in a clear plastic, see-though bottle with a white pump style top. It is extremely easy to dispense, even with one hand as you only press the pump down and out the lube comes. I love the bottle because of it's somewhat classy appearance and of course how easy it is to use. The bottle does say "Maximus" and "a water-based sensual lubricant" right on the bottle but because the bottle is so simple, it doesn't really scream sex. There are no directions for use, but we all pretty much know how to use a sensual lubricant, so I don't think that will be a problem for anyone.

Maximus lube comes in an 8.45 fl oz bottle which is a lot of product and will last for months even with daily use. The bottle itself stands about 7" high with the pump erect. The actual product portion of the bottle is about 4 1/2" high and is 7" around. The size makes it fairly easy to store in a cabinet, drawer, under a bed, or in a toy box, but what's really nice it this bottle doesn't leak at all even when stored on it's side.

The bottle will fit in a suitcase or travel bag, but due to the large amount of product, this bottle is not airplane-friendly. You could put a small amount (less than 3.4 oz) in another plastic container though, and take it on the airplane if you wanted to.

This lube doesn't heat up, cool down, or tingle, but it does create an unbelievably smooth glide that feels absolutely amazing!

At first glance, I have to admit I was somewhat concerned with the parabens in the product. But, because I do have really sensitive skin, I did some research before purchasing the product.

There is some really good information there and it definitely eased my worries about using products with parabens.

I have used this lube a least 20 times since we got it about a month ago. It's really like no other lube I've ever tried. In fact, I typically hate lube. I tried dozens of different kinds and they all have sticky or greasy feeling, and the ones that don't, have little to no staying power.

We have used this lube solo with our toys, on each other during mutual masturbation sessions, and while having PIV sex and anal sex. It works just like it's supposed to every time.
