JO H2O lubricant - water-based lubricant by System JO - review by Samantha

The System JO H2O water-based lubricant is a non-sticky, easily absorbed, odorless and colorless lubricant that is amazing for anal or vaginal use. A few drops on my glass toys or a dime size amount on my silicone toys is more than enough for easy insertion and thrusting. Even after a good play session neither the toys nor myself are left feeling sticky or as if I need to wash everything off right away. The best part of it all? It's safe to use with all types of toys, so instead of having multiple lubes out for different toys it's all set in one small, easy to open and dispense bottle.

This lube is silky smooth. It flows easily out of the pop cap lid and doesn't leave anything feeling sticky even after it dries. It goes where I want it to go and stays in place on toys, fingers or orifices. The after effects of use are minimal...if anything, I've noticed that afterwards my fingers feel smoother and moisturized.

There is no smell to this lube at all, which is awesome. There's a slight, almost fruity taste to it, but in small amounts it's virtually imperceptible. It's not a lube marketed for oral use so try to avoid ingestion as much as possible to stay safe.

The JO H2O lubricant worked amazingly. It lasted for at least a half hour on a toy used vaginally. Use on an anal plug worked just as well, insertion with it and removal later on was a breeze. I think it worked a little too well on my Seduction as the toy kept wanting to slip out and I had to scale back the amount used on the next play. Ladies, you won't need a whole lot of this lube whether your play is anal or vaginal.

It absorbs easily into the skin, so well that you might not feel the need to rinse or wipe off your body after use. There's no sticky residue left behind; for me, there was almost no evidence at all that it was even there. A body-safe toy wipe, baby wipe, antibacterial wipe, or good ol' fashioned soap and water will clean this right off should you feel the need.

The product arrived in a clear plastic bag. There were no signs of leakage in transit and I haven't had problems with the bottle leaking since I've recieved it.

The bottle itself says 'personal lubricant' on the label in silver letters. There are four languages used on the package: Spanish, French, German and English, and a warning and direction section in each. There is what I'm assuming to be a batch number (mine is 7203) and expiration date (10/14) stamped in black on the label.

The lubricant is made up of chemicals. Listed on the bottle, in order, are:
(INCI) Propylparaben
Methylparaben
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose
Glycerin (also see Glycerol)
and Purified Water (Aqua).
Those with glycerin sensitivities should steer clear.

The System JO H2O water-based lubricant is an awesome buy for the price. It is long lasting in both quality and quantity and doesn't leave me feeling gross or sticky after use. It's safe for all my toys and is gentle on my extremely sensitive skin.
