Pink champagne dress - mini dress discontinued by DreamGirl - review by blacklodge

First look:

I absolutely had to have this cute Pink Champagne dress from DreamGirl. After ripping it out of the box I immediately tried it on. I was so amazed with how good it goes with everything. It's a very well-made dress. All of the stitching is in place, there are no frays, and everything is straight. The only problems were a small sizing issuse (read below), and I had was one of my rhinestones popped out. I found it a few days later in the rug, and just stuck it back in, and it has stayed put ever since.

Material:

It is made of 90% polystester and 10% spandex. It is very cool to the touch. I don't get that hot when I'm wearing this. It's really nice. It's also super soft and slinky. If you have a pet, don't let them get near it right before you wear it out. It attracts cat hair like a magnet.

There is padding in the bust but it's really thin. It didn't too much for my B sized boobs. There's also a lot of extra material which bunches up. My boobs become non-existant when I wear this. I have to wear a strapless bra to get any cleavage.

There is a black thong that comes with this dress. It's just the generic black ones that come with most pieces around here. It's not a g-string, just a normal thong. They have a little stretch to them but not a lot.

I ordered the small size. I normally wear size 5, I am a B cup, and my measurements are 34" bust, 29" waist, 35" hips.

The length of the dress from the bottom of the rhinstone piece to the bottom of the dress is 25". The straps are 29" and the rhinestone piece is 2". I am 5'6" and this comes down to my middle/upper thigh. I can confortably leave the house with no leggings or jeans with this.

I knew my waist was slightly bigger than what should fit, but I went for it anyways. It's a little tight getting it on, but once it's on it fits. Nothing clings or is form fitting. It's comfortable, not too tight. The horizontal band doesn't stretch as much as I would like. It makes it very difficult to get off. My thighs are too big to slide it down and my shoulders are too wide to pull it up off of me. I have to sit on the floor and have my boyfriend take this dress off of me. I don't get it. If fits me fine when it's on, but I can't get it off. I am very claustrophobic and it really makes me panic if I can't get something off of me. So, I can't wear this unless I know someone's going to be there to take it off of me.

I still love this dress. It looks the exact same as it did when I got it and fits the same way, too.
