Pink champagne dress - mini dress discontinued by DreamGirl - review by onehotmomma

I love this dress! It is worth every penny! I want to start out with the one and only thing I can not stand about it, and it's also what led me to give it 4 out of 5 stars. Since there is no zipper or buttons on this dress, it is difficult to get on. I have broader shoulders, and my hips are not huge by any means, but I'm definitely not a pencil, lol. The band right underneath the boobs isn't very stretchy, so getting this on and off, is an absolute pain. Other than that it fits extremely well.

I generally can't buy dresses like this, because I fit a size large everywhere, except boobs. Most dresses and shirts that have this kind of cut never fit me right in the chest. I wear a bra size 40B, and this is the only halter I have found that gives me adequate coverage, and I am not spilling out of it. The dress has a great shape, and really makes you look slimmer, which is what I was going for :) I found the little black thong it came with to be a bit too big for me, I think washing and drying might shrink it up a little bit though.

The material is very soft, and it is thick. You can't see through this anywhere, and it's a great well made product. I've washed it twice, and have had no problems with the jewels on the halter straps chipping or breaking. I line dry, because I don't want the material to get fuzzies from the dryer.

I am 5'4'', and there is no way I can wear this as a dress alone. At home as something sexy for the boyfriend, sure, but it barely covers my butt when I'm standing straight up. It looks great paired with leggings though!

It came nicely wrapped in pink tissue paper :) I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Adding a zipper to the back of this dress has done wonders for me! I highly suggest if you have problems taking it on and off you find someone who is handy with a sewing machine, or do it yourself :), there are easy tutorials on how to sew a zipper if you search it :)

I've worn this many times, and I probably should've just line dried it the entire time, I dry it on low heat usually, but I'm noticing I'm getting little black fuzz balls peeling up from the material. It's not noticeable, and hasn't damaged the dress so far. I can see it being a problem in the future if I continue to be lazy and toss it in with the rest of my clothes. I wore this for a girls night out, and we were probably on the go 6-8 hours. I had to retie the halter because it got stretched out and I noticed it starting to come down lower, showing more of my boobs than neccesary :). Easy fix, and certainly wouldn't stop me from wearing out for a long period of time again.

Another plus..The material isn't so lightweight that it blows up everytime the wind hits you. I have several tunics, and dresses that blow up and make me feel like I'm being exposed (even if I'm wearing leggings-I'm paranoid about it) when walking in the slightest bit of wind.
