Cute, but not quite enchanting.

This toy is super cute, looking like a mini magical wand, but it just didn't do much for me at all. Its weak, buzzy vibrations left me wanting more. That being said, it'll be a good choice for those of you that prefer those kinds of vibrations, just so long as you're looking for a toy that is pretty much meant to be a clit-only item.

Use

The Enchanted Crystals is an adorable little clitoral vibrator. This toy is very beginner friendly, as it's quite simple to use, and the material is fairly safe. That said, there's nothing that makes this a beginners-only kind of toy. If you like buzzier vibrations, and if you don't require a lot of power, this is a decent choice.

This toy is best used for clitoral stimulation, but you could also use it for shallow vaginal insertion. You could also use it to stimulate other sensitive areas of your body, like your nipples. Whatever you do, don't insert it anally, as it's way too small and doesn't have a base.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of plastic, which scores an 8 on Eden's safety scale. Plastic is latex-free, phthalates-free, hypoallergenic, and non-porous. While plastic is non-porous, it still can't really be sterilized. For this reason, you're going to want to wear a common if you intend on sharing it with a friend.

The "crystal" ball that serves as the dial on this toy is completely smooth, with no texture at all. It's glossy and slick to the touch, as well. The rest of the toy has a bit of drag to it, and features ridges all along the shaft. The ball at the other end of the toy (the one that's the same color as the shaft of the toy) is completely smooth, as well, but it doesn't feel as sleek as the crystal ball does.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy measures only about 4 1/2" inches in length, so it's quite tiny. The bulbs on each end of the toy are 1 3/8" in diameter.

The bulb is meant to be put against your clitoris for clitoral stimulation, and it works okay for that (if you don't mind the buzzy, weak vibrations). The bulb provides broad stimulation rather than pinpoint stimulation. You could also hold the bulb against your nipples, or other sensitive body parts.

If you like, you could even insert this toy vaginally, but I doubt that it would offer much pleasure. The ridges might feel okay, but this toy is just so tiny that I doubt you'd feel much.

It is very cute, and it doesn't really look anything like a sex toy at all. It kind of looks like a kids toy, in fact, which... is a bit weird, but whatever. Due to how discreet it is, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to leave it out in plain sight when company comes over.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy runs on only one AAA battery. To insert the battery, you simply twist off the "crystal" ball, and then place the battery in. Then, twist the crystal back on.

Once the battery is inserted, you simply twist the crystal ball to turn the vibrator on. The more you twist the crystal, the more the vibrations will increase. To decrease the vibrations, you simply turn the ball back in the opposite direction.

I expected the vibrations to come from the crystal ball, but they don't. Instead, it's the ball on the other end of the toy that vibrates. The vibrations kind of stay right in that ball; they don't travel well throughout the toy at all. They're also very, very buzzy, and weak. I'd say that this toy earns about 2 vrooms and 2 bees.

This toy is also waterproof, as it features an o-ring. It preformed okay in water, too.

Care and Maintenance

As this toy is made out of plastic, caring for it is fairly simple. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and water, a toy cleaner, or a toy wipe. Just make sure that you play close attention to all of the ridges on this toy, as they can easily collect lubricant and bodily fluids. I'd suggest taking a tooth brush or something of the sort and really scrubbing at those ridges.

In regards to lubricant, you can use this toy with oil-, silicone-, or water-based lubricants, should you find that you require it.

As for storage, there's no real specific storage requirements. If you like, you could leave this toy laying out, or you could just toss it in a drawer. I store it in my toybox with all of my other toys. However you choose to store it, I would suggest removing the batteries when the toy is not in use.
