Pocket wand - pocket rocket discontinued by Shaki Toys - review by Minxy

Okay, let me just start out by saying this is one toy that for the price, if you like buzzy vibe's, should get the job done just fine, but it's not without problems. Mine sat around for a week until my husband had the time to figure out why it wasn't working. I'm not sure if it arrived tweaked, of If I did it trying to get the darn thing to close once I put the batteries in it.


The Russian Torpedo is a pocket rocket style vibe made by Shaki Toy's. The difference is the smooth, torpedo shape plastic head and six inch long, plastic body, that houses two AA batteries. The Extra battery power pushes the power of a standard pocket rocket to twice the power. The Motor lies right below the top of the head so the vibrations are very powerful and very buzzy.


This toy simply pulls apart to insert the batteries. I believe the little cardboard graphic this comes packaged with said what direction to insert the batteries. Regardless, it is so difficult to push this toy together. Mine was opened about four or five times reconfiguring batteries to realize it wasn't going to work.
My husband found the inner metal connections were bent, one again, was it me? Was it that the toy arrived defective? We will will never know.


The RT is easy to operate( In theory.....LOL) simply insert batteries and twist to operate. This is a fairly loud vibe and can easily be heard through a closed door. It is however strong for the noise payoff, as I stated earlier, about twice as strong as a pocket rocket. The RT comes packaged in a plastic clam shell.Inset on a piece of paper are graphics but no instructions. Feel free to use any lube with this one. Toy cleaner is a great option. This is not a waterproof toy.

This toy was strong enough to get me off, but I don't know if it will last. If you have lube on your hands you will be unlikely to twist this vibe off in a pinch.
