Meh.

I really wanted to like Zook, I did. I was impressed by the toy, but it's just not strong enough. I wouldn't be complaining as much about not being able to thrust the toy if the clitoral attachment worked well for me, but without a motor in the arm it doesn't feel like much of anything.

Use

Zini's Zook is a high quality 100% silicone rabbit vibrator. It has two motors (but neither motor is in the clitoral arm and because of this, it makes for diffused vibrations from the clitoral arm) with multiple vibration patterns that correspond to an LED light in the vibrators interface. I find that this toy is difficult when it comes to thrusting, so if you like thrusting with g-spot stimulation, this toy definitely isn't for you.

It's rechargeable, splash-proof, and travel friendly.

I would say that this toy is splash-proof, and wouldn't submerge it underwater.

Material / Texture

Zook is made of 100% medical grade silicone (the shaft and clitoral arm) and ABS plastic (the control interface), both materials are hypoallergenic and phthalate free. The insertable portion is hard plastic with a silicone coating on it (think Lelo Gigi or Lelo Liv) the clitoral arm is a plush, squishy silicone made to move with your body and lightly stimulate the clitoris. There is some light texture up the shaft but not enough for it to be felt.

The silicone coating doesn't provide as much drag as other silicone toys I have (Fun Factory's Tiger comes to mind.) It's similar to Lelo Gigi, with a tiny bit more drag.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

According to Zini's website Zook's design was inspired by "bamboo that sways in an emotional way by the breeze in the moonlight". Overall I like the shape for g-spot stimulation, but I don't like the clitoral arm. I really wanted to like it more, and I thought I would because there's not a motor in the arm itself so maybe it would feel better but, it just doesn't. To me the clitoral arm just feels awkward and gets in the way. The clitoral arm is so far forward on the toy that you can barely thrust it at all, which I like to do, so I was really disappointed with the design.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Zook has two motors, one is located in the shaft near the clitoral arm and another is located towards the tip of the toy. The vibrations are a 3/5 for vroom, I feel like they could be a little more powerful. Other vibrators I own (Lelo Gigi and Fun Factory Tiger) seem more quiet and more powerful to me.

I wouldn't submerge this and I haven't had a chance to use it in the shower, but before taking it in the shower I would recommend making sure the charging port is sealed.

Zini's Zook has a three button interface consisting of a (+) (-) and (o) button.

When you first get your toy it will be charged but travel locked. To unlock your toy hold the (+) and (-) button (this is seriously the hardest part! I hate unlocking/locking this toy) when the LED lights blink green that means it's unlocked and if they blink red you've locked it, or it's still locked. You might want to practice locking and unlocking because it's hard to master.

The (+) button is used to turn on your toy and raise the intensity of vibrations (there are 5 levels of intensity.) You can also hold the (+) button for two seconds to get to the highest level of intensity. The (-) button lowers the intensity. To turn the toy off you hold down the (-) and (o) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The (o) button is used to switch between pattern mode and vibration mode, when in pattern mode you can use the (+) and (-) buttons to cycle through 15 different patterns. Also if you hold (o) down for two seconds it will cycle through all 15 patterns for 3 seconds each, which is pretty awesome.

You can also check the charge of the toy by holding down the (o) button when the toy is off. The LED lights color will show the charge left on the battery, Green is 100%-95%, green-yellow 95%-70%, yellow 70%-50%, orange 50%-10%, and red is 10%-0%.

Care and Maintenance

Zini Zook is made from ABS plastic and 100% silicone, it can easily be cleaned after use with soap and water (make sure that the charging port is sealed to prevent water damage.) The silicone coating on the shaft isn't very matte so it doesn't attract lint as easily as other silicone toys. Zook can easily be stored in the box it came in or in the nylon-esque pouch that it comes with. I find that the pouch is less bulky so I keep it in there most of the time.
