The material does not have any smell or taste. The head is made of silicone and the body is plastic. The Wanachi is smooth all over with no texture at all except for the ridges at the bendable head. I think that this toy can be used with both beginners and advanced users.

I really liked the design idea of this toy. It's long and slim so it doesn't get in the way during sex. It's a smaller type of massage wand and that's what I was really excited about. It's not bulky and is wireless. The size is appealing for both beginners and advanced users, I believe. The Wanachi would be an easy toy to hide or take for travel since it's really just a portable massage wand. It does not look like a sex toy and can easily be used either way.

The performance of the toy is where it gets disappointing. The vibrations are located in the silicone head of the toy. They are controlled by a turn dial at the bottom of the toy. The head is flexible for different pressures and angles. It's not very loud at all which surprised me. It has more of a muffled vibration that would be easy to hide. It is waterproof (which also surprised me) but I have not used it in the water yet.

This toy is very easy to take care of, especially if you are just using it as a personal massager. A quick wipe down every once in a while should do the trick. If you are using the toy sexually, be sure to clean it off after every use. Do not use silicone lube with this toy since the head of it is silicone itself. When storing silicone toys, it is important to not let them touch. For some reason silicone on silicone causes a melting reaction. Be sure to put this one in its own space or the original box for storage.

The toy comes in a square cardboard box about the same size as it is. There are no graphic pictures or sexual implications. The description only describes it as a personal massager. It covers all of the toys perks such as waterproof, phthalate free, multi-speed, and the silicone head. The package would be easy to gift wrap and I find it to be perfect for storage. It's not a large box, but bedside end table storage probably wouldn't be possible.

I personally did not like this toy. It seems like a good quality toy, but it wasn't right for me. I read the reviews and I was skeptical since most had said that the head was likely to fall off. The flexible neck and head were very sturdy on my product. Even upon lots of pressure and testing I found that it was a very secure fit. One thing I did not like was the vibrations. I felt more vibrations in my hand than in the head of the toy. I actually turned it around backwards because there was more stimulation in the handle! I think that maybe the silicone head absorbs the vibrations too much. I also don't like to use toys that make my hand go numb during use, but that's just me.
