I have long weighed the benefits of investing in a wand vibe; because only one was available for so long, the price stayed high and I could never bring myself to drop the money on it. Recently, some more affordable wands -- some of them rechargeable and almost all of them battery operated -- have popped up and I chose the Wanachi Mini as my first venture. I'm quite satisfied with my first wand.

I got mine in white; it's more of a pearl color and it's quite pretty. The Mini requires 2 AA batteries (not included) that can be inserted by unscrewing the base of the handle. Once operable, the power "switch" is actually a dialing base that goes from low to WHOA, delivering a pretty well-customized vibe to my clit, my labia and just inside the opening of my vagina (it is recommended that the Mini not be inserted, but I like the intensity of the highest vibe to bring me closer to orgasm by stimulating the millions of nerve endings at the opening...this is obviously a "use this way at your own risk" piece of advice). My partner loves nipple stimulation and the Mini knocks his socks off; I've also used it on his perineum during oral sex and I fear he may be getting addicted to it! The accordian "neck" of this wand, between the silicone head and the plastic handle, suggests a certain amount of flexibility but to a slightly disappointing reality -- which is to say it's really not that flexible.

Made from food grade plastic and silicone, the Wanachi Mini is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phtalate free. Washable with simple soap and water, the Mini is easy to maintain and should be stored in a toy pouch or other container that keeps dust out. It is recommended that it be stored without the batteries, but I've not only never taken them out (except to replace the dead ones), I find the Mini to be very conservative when it comes to battery use.
