Pleasure petals - traditional vibrator by NMC Ltd - review by DiscreteKink

Painful Petals

This toy has to be the worst toy I have ever had. Not because it didn't get me off, or because of a manufacturing error, but because of its fundamental design. If you think you are going to use this toy anally, I would strongly rethink your plans, and look at other products.

extremely useful review

Note - I think it is important to note that I received this product free while ordering some other toys. It is also important to note that I am a male reviewer, and can only attest to the toys use anally.

I would not, under any circumstance, recommend this toy to anyone interested in using this toy anally. I discuss this in more detail in the sections below, but the toy is downright painful to use.

The first time I tried to use this toy, after the second thrust I decided to give up on it. Keep in mind, I have taken toys longer, and wider, so it is not a matter of the size. It all has to do with the raised flowers along the sides of the toy. The second time I tried to use this toy, it hurt so much, that it caused me to completely stop using all my toys for the night.

I promptly threw the toy away out of frustration.

Material / Texture

The toy is made from plastic, which makes it smooth but very rigid.

The texture of this toy is where everything falls apart. It has raised flowers along the outside of the toy. This would not have been a problem if they had chosen a more pliable material. However, since the toy is made from plastic, these flowers actually become very painful and irritating during masturbation. Again, I am using this toy exclusively anally, so perhaps the vaginal penetration isn't so bad.

Again, not sure how the female response would be to this toy, but as a male, I would say this toy would only be good for people who enjoy pain. I am not joking here, seriously, unless you enjoy pain, don't get this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

The toy is your basic straight vibrator. It is very rigid and has absolutely no give at all. This is a tried and tested simple design, but the additional texture ruins a potentially decent vibrator.

I would say the toy is a little longer than average, and perhaps a tad bit thicker. This typically would not be a problem for most toys, but because of how rigid it is - it may be a problem for beginners.

This toy is not crazy big by the standards of many sex toys, so I would say it is fairly easy to hide. It is not very discreet though should it be found - so consider than when decided where to put it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy is operated by a simple turn nob at the base of the toy. It is theoretically variable, but it seems to be more on and off. The vibrations are located primarily in the tip of the toy.

I do have to say, that it does vibrate pretty well, but that is about all it does well.

This toy is ridiculously loud. Seriously, if you live in a house, or even an apartment that you don't want other people to hear you - do not buy this toy. Unless you maybe perhaps get off on knowing other people know what your doing, in which case, there are surely better products still.

This toy is not waterproof.

Care and Maintenance

The toy is made from plastic, which means you can easily clean it with the use of antibacterial soap and warm water. Additionally you could wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. This makes this toy very easy to care for.

Dirt and such are not going to be attracted to this product, which means you can pretty much store it however you like.

Water, silicon, and oil lubes are all good to go on this toy.

The toy is packaged in a round flimsy plastic case that is simply taped together.

There were instructions in the battery compartment that showed how to put the batteries in.

Definitely would not work great as a storage container.
