Pleasurably Textured

The Pleasure Petals vibrator is a cute traditional vibrator perfect for a beginner who likes a decent amount of power, some texture, and girth. It can be used vaginally, to stimulate the clitoris, nipples, head of the penis, any many other ways. The only way I wouldn't recommend is anal use, there is no flared base and it can be lost in the ass. Not a pleasant trip to the emergency room, I'm sure!

It's a little loud and isn't waterproof so best to use it in the bedroom when you are able to shut the door and turn on the TV or some music for background noise.

The Pleasure Petals vibrator is made of plastic which earns an 8 on the Eden safety scale. It is non-porous, latex free, hypo-allergenic, and phthalate free. It is very firm and has no give to it at all, and the raised textured petal design is made more pronounced by the rigidness of it. Those who don't like texture probably won't like this. There was no smell or taste after it's first washing, which I was very happy about.

The design is cute and un-intimidating for those who don't like toys that look just like a penis. I thought the raised petal design was clever, though a little intense at times for me. It is more girthy than the typical traditional vibrator, which is nice for me because I enjoy a toy that is a little bigger.

Since the toy has no give, the girth can feel a little bigger. I wouldn't recommend this as a first toy for someone who has never had any penetration from either a person, fingers, or another toy. As I mentioned, the added girth was very welcome by me. It obviously looks like a vibrator so it isn't discreet. It also doesn't have a lock feature, so the only way to stop the vibrations from accidentally turning on is to take the 2 C batteries out before attempting to travel.

The Pleasure Petals vibrator has a very basic yet easy to use dial function. It twists on and off freely, allowing you to find the perfect strength. The vibrations can be felt primarily in the tip to 3/4 down the shaft fairly evenly. My favorite thing about this vibe is that the vibrations are pretty rumbly. It is really awesome to find an affordable vibe with wonderful vibrations. Even if a beginner can't handle the girth at first, the vibrations are equally pleasurable when used to stimulate the clitoris. This was actually my favorite way to use it.

I would rate the strength of the vibrations (with fresh batteries) just at 4 vrooms. Certainly able to get the average person off! It's a little loud at about 3-3.5 bees, and it isn't waterproof. Still the price and quality of the vibrations more than make up for this.

It isn't waterproof so be careful when cleaning. You can carefully clean the insertable portion under running warm water with a mild soap. You can also use a toy wipe or wipe down with a 10% bleach solution. I store it in my toy drawer with the rest of my toys and haven't had any problems.

Feel free to use water, oil, and silicone based lubricants on the Pleasure Petals.

While I received this as a free gift, if mine were to go out and Eden were still selling it, I'd replace it. It's inexpensive and does a good job. I own a lot of luxury toys and while this isn't silicone or rechargeable, it still has it's place in our toy box.
