Petal To The Metal

This toy is strong, lightly textured, and made from non-porous plastic. It is pretty basic, but the texture makes it interesting. I really like this one, and I know it will be getting plenty of use.

Use

Pleasure Petals is a great little vibe. It is not something I would have just picked up for myself, because the texture looks kind of intense online, but I got this for free as part of one of my recent orders. The toy is great for both vaginal, or external stimulation, just don't put this one in the anus since there's no safe base to anchor it and keep it from slipping in.

The toy is very powerful, and is best left to those who enjoy a lot of vibration, and some texture. I'm often iffy on texture, but this feels subtle when in use, and I didn't have a problem with it at all.

Material / Texture

The Pleasure Petals vibrator is made from hard plastic, and had no scent or taste to it. It does have a beautiful flower design all over it, making this toy lovely not just to use, but to the eyes as well. I was a little unsure of this one when I was looking at it online, because the texture looks like it might hurt, but since it was a free toy I decided to give it a shot anyway.

I was very happy to discover that those pretty flowers feel as good as they look. If you're someone who doesn't like even minor textures though, then you probably won't like this toy. I didn't really notice it a lot in most positions, and when I did notice the texture, it was only pleasurable to me.

While the toy is a hard vibrator, it has a velvet touch coating all over it (with the exception of the speed dial at the very bottom). I like the feel of the toy in my hands, but my genitals don't really notice a difference between the velvet coat and the smoothness of a lot of other vibrators I own.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

This is a pretty average size vibrator, with 7 inches in length (5.6 of those inches being insertable), and a diameter of 1 1/4". I think that most users should be able to accomodate the girth of this toy without too much trouble, and it isn't so thin as to not be satasfying.

I wouldn't call this toy discreet, anyone who sees it will definitely know what it is. You could probably get away with traveling with this one, but the toy is pretty heavy due to the two C batteries it requires (not included), so for me, I'd probably leave this at home.

Functions / Performance / Controls

As I already mentioned, the toy runs on two C batteries, and they give it a lot of power. The toy uses a simple turn style base, and you just can control the vibrations by turning the dial to the right. To shut the toy off, turn it to the left.

Pleasure Petals is strong, and the vibrations go from about a two to a four and a half in intensity (out of five). I find that it can often be too strong for me to use vaginally on the highest setting, but it is wonderful for clit stimulation too.

I have read that a lot of people find the toy to be obnoxiously loud. I might have been lucky and gotten a really quiet one, but I didn't find this toy to be too loud at all. You should definitely leave the paper that comes with the toy inside it during use to lessen the noise, but it's overall about a two out of five for noise. I turned the vibe on to the max and could not hear it through a closed door, with the toy under a sheet. Also, when the toy is being used internally, it is even less noisy.

Care and Maintenance

Care of this toy is pretty easy. Plastic is sturdy and can take a bit of a beating. I'm not too gentle with it or too worried about where I put it. I have yet to bang it up or get any marks on the toy at all. To clean it, you can use a 10% bleach solution, soap and water, or a toy cleaner. The toy is not waterproof though, so be careful not to get the battery chamber wet. The only problem I noticed at all with cleaning is that lube and ejaculate do like to get trapped between the flower petals sometimes, so you'll definitely need to be sure to scrub this one extra.

Any type of lube is compatible with this toy.
    • Easy to store

Packaging

My toy just came in a simple plastic sleeve that says "Eden Fantasys" on it. I wouldn't call this packaging discreet because you could easily see the toy right through it. I didn't save the sleeve, because it really is great for shipping, but doesn't seem like it would hold up to much use. You shouldn't have to worry too much about where you set this one down though, because it is sturdy and won't get hurt easily like some softer materials can.

Personal comments

One great thing about this toy is that it doesn't attract lint or dust easily. We have two cats and it is always nice finding toys which don't attract link and hair, etc.
Follow-up commentary
I finally tossed out this toy. It was getting to be a HUGE pain in the rear to clean, and it was just a lot more hassle than fun.

thanks! I was wondering how rough the texture was on one's girly bits, so it's nice to hear that it doesn't hurt.

    Thank guys!

@Unfulfilled At least it is still available to buy. This one is definitely worth it.

@Lacybutton Some girls did have some pain with it, but that wasn't my experience. If you decide to try it, I hope it is yours as well.
