Silly? More like CRAZY

Silly Diver, in my opinion, should be called 'CRAZY Diver'. It will satisfy those who are 'Power Queens/Kings', but for those of you who don't want a whole lot of intensity, I would advise to passing this one up until you are certain you are ready for this type of toy. Even at the lowest settings I found this toy to be too much for me to handle.

Use

Silly Diver is a 'rabbit-style' or 'dual-stimulation' vibrator. It's best used for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. I do not recommend this as a anal toy as it has no flared base. Singles and couples alike will enjoy this toy as well. Silly diver is marketed as being waterproof, so it can go into the shower with you but I wouldn't advise submerging this toy. I'll get more in-depth about that under its design.

Material / Texture

Silly Diver is made from 100% Phthalates-free silicone, meaning it is the best out of the best for material safety. It is non-porous and can be sanitized easily for sharing. The silicone of the shaft has a little bit of give to it, but the dolphin clitoral attachment is mostly, if not entirely firm to the touch. The head of the shaft has three ridges, upon insertion I could feel them but after that I didn't feel anything aside from 'full'.

A little further down the shaft in a transparent space you can see three rows of non-jamming steel beads that will rotate in use. This is where the toy will feel bumpy as opposed to the smooth silicone.

I'll also take a second to mention that the entire shaft rotates as well.

The entirety of the toy is slightly flexible, I wouldn't go ahead and start flexing this toy, you'll only break it.

The shaft and clitoral attachment also have seams. As I am not 'seam sensitive' I did not feel these while in use.

The toy has no detectable odor unless you are holding it directly under your nose. The odor is light and not overpowering.

Design / Shape / Size

This was my first time with a toy of the 'rabbit-style' design so I will admit right now that I was a little intimidated by it. I didn't know what I was getting myself into when it came to being dual-stimulated.

In its entirety, Silly Diver is 10 1/4" long from top of shaft to bottom of control panel with an insertable length of 5". It has a circumference of 4 3/4" and a diameter of 1 1/2".

At first I thought I was kidding myself with this toy. I could only insert it up to the top of the beads before it started getting a bit uncomfortable. With a little patience and relaxation, I was able to fully insert Silly Diver to the point where its clitoral attachment was poking my clit.

The clitoral attachment, while in the shape of a dolphin has no imprints of faces. If it did, this toy would be marching right back where it came from because Vanille doesn't play with animals.

This toy is in no means discreet in its design, it will indeed scream VIBRATOR!! at whoever sees it. Because of its size, it's not all that poised for a good travel companion.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations of this toy are located in the top of the shaft and in its clitoral attachment.

The control panel is located at the bottom of the toy and consists of four buttons.

The top two Up and Down arrow buttons control the speed of the rotating shaft. The middle rotating arrow button changes the rotation direction of the shaft. The squiggle button on the bottom is the control for the clitoral attachment as well as the button that completely turns the toy off.

Click the Up arrow once to activate the shaft on its own without the clitoral attachment. To include the clitoral attachment, press the squiggle button while the shaft is running. To run the clitoral attachment on its own, press the squiggle button.

When you are done, press and hold the squiggle button for 4 seconds to turn the toy off if you have both parts running. If you have just the shaft running, click the Down arrow until the shaft shuts off.

The toy has indicator lights in the shape of hearts that glow red when on. Both the shaft and clitoral attachment have three lights indicating their intensity.

The battery door is a twist-lock style. You untwist it and the battery compartment comes out. The batteries that Silly Diver needs to run is three AAs.

Upon inspection for waterproofing, I saw this toy has a rubber O-ring. Because of the twist-lock battery door though, I am still not convinced this is a water-submersible toy. I would at the very least believe it to be splash proof for cleaning or use in the shower. I would not take this into a tub environment.

The noise of this toy was very distracting. Instead of rumbly or buzzy vibrations, this toy is almost mechanical sounding. It was off-putting to say the least.

Included with the distracting noise, it is also very loud. Something I wouldn't keep around in a environment if you're directly sharing a wall with someone. However, if your house mates are further down the hall, the noise is dulled somewhat.
    • Not very discreet
    • Powerful

Care and Maintenance

Silly Diver is silicone, so care should be taken to NOT use silicone based lubes and to keep it away from other silicone toys. Soap & water, toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution will do well for cleaning/sanitation. Even though this toy is silicone, because of the control panel, boiling or putting on the top rack of your dishwasher isn't advised.

Storing this toy might be a bit of a challenge because of its size. I found placing it in its original packaging in a drawer with nothing but my other toys to be a fine place for storage but for some others it might be a little tricky to store.

Packaging

This toy came packaged in a plastic box with a plastic insert which was hollowed out to hold the toy. The toy came with no instruction manual, however the box basically told what the toy does and what it features. The packaging can be used to store your toy but it is not discreet as it shows pictures of the toy right on it.

Personal comments

This toy is definitely not for those looking for 'a little' stimulation. Those of you who call yourselves 'power queen/kings' will be more suited for this toy. As someone who is fairly 'new' to toys, this would be something I would have to work up to. At this present time I am not ready for this kind of toy. Even at its lower settings it proved to be too much for me.
