The "Silly Diver" Is Actually Pretty Damn Serious!

The Silly Diver by Cal Exotic is the most powerful toy I have tried yet. This toy is powerful both internally and externally. It may not be the most attractive rabbit vibrator, but it will rock your socks off. If you are the type of person who finds most toys to be too weak, and you constantly have it on the highest setting just to be pleasured...you've met your match with the Silly Diver. Warning: This type of power is not for the faint of heart!

extremely useful review
The Silly Diver comes in a transparent, rectangular plastic package. The front of the packaging states the product name, brand, a few of the product features, and because the packaging is transparent, you can see the product through the plastic. The back of the packaging has the same information as the front, along with a photo of the product and states a few additional features. The product packaging boasts of the following features: pure silicone, 7 functions of vibration, pulsation, and escalation, 3 speeds of shaft rotation, waterproof, 3 rows of non-jamming pleasure beads, LED lights, and an EZ load battery pack.

When I took the product out of the packaging, I did not notice any strong scent coming from the product. The Silly Diver is a purple/pink colour and the control panel is silver. The clitoral attachment is in the shape of a dolphin’s head which normally I would be turned off by, but this attachment is quite simple and does not have eyes or a mouth on the dolphin (I am not a fan of insertable products that look like cute animals or characters).

The vibrator is made of silicone, the beads are stainless steel, and the controller is ABS. You should only use water-based lubricants with this toy! The measurements of the toy are as follows:

Length: 10 ¼ inches
Insertable length: 5 inches
Circumference: 4 ¾ inches
Clitoral stimulator length (taken on upper part- so basically the “neck” of the dolphin): 2 inches

On the upper part of the shaft, there are three ribs that add a nice texture to the toy. The ribs are not extremely pronounced to the point where they are uncomfortable, but they can be felt slightly when inserting the product. The rest of the toy is smooth.

The top of the vibrator (above the beads) and the dolphin head has a bit of flexibility to it, but not very much. The silicone material is quite firm.

The Silly Diver requires 3x AA batteries, which are not included. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the toy, and has a twist-and-lock style lid. When you remove the lid, a white, rectangular piece will slide out and that piece is where you place the batteries. I did not have any problems with the battery compartment or lid when inserting or removing the batteries but the lid does not seem completely sealed when locked in (which could be a problem with water getting into the battery compartment). I have not submerged the toy in water, but did not have a problem with any water getting into the battery compartment when I cleaned the toy.

The Silly Diver did not come with an instruction manual, but the back of the packaging has a diagram of which buttons do what, and after playing around with the buttons for a minute or two, I got the hang of it. The buttons are really easy to learn and should not be a problem for anyone.

The control panel has a total of 4 buttons. The button with the squiggly line is the on/off button, as well the button you use to change the function of the clitoral stimulator. To turn the power on, you simply click the squiggly button. To change functions, click the squiggly button. To turn the toy off, you need to hold the squiggly button for 4 seconds. The next button is the “reverse” button. This button has two arrows in the shape of a circle. This button reverses the rotation of the shaft. The last two buttons are an up and down button. These buttons control the shaft rotation speed (there are three speed levels available). When you turn the toy on, only the clitoral stimulator starts moving. You will need to use the arrow buttons to have the shaft begin rotating.

The 7 functions of the clitoral stimulator are as follows:

First: constant vibrations, lowest setting
Second: constant vibrations, medium setting
Third: constant vibrations, highest setting
Fourth: pulsating, medium periods of pulsation, constant
Fifth: pulsates, vibrates and escalates
Sixth: pulsates, longer periods of pulsation
Seventh: pulsates, shorter periods of pulsation, with a longer pulsation every 4th pulse

That is the best I can explain the settings anyway, so hopefully that makes sense. All 7 of the functions for the clitoral stimulator are VERY powerful. Even on the first function, which is the “weakest” vibration setting, it’s ridiculously powerful. The weakest setting on this toy is probably the only setting that most people can handle… unless your clitoris is made of steel.
Experience
..continued

The tip of the clitoral stimulator is quite hard as well, so not only is it powerful, but it’s firm and applies a lot of pressure on the area. This could be a pro for some people, but for others, it may be a con.

The three speed levels for the shaft rotation are also very powerful. When the toy is inserted, I can feel the rotating beads and shaft, even on its weakest setting. Personally, I like the power that the shaft and beads have, but if you like to keep your toys at a lower speed when used internally, you will not like the Silly Diver. One nice thing about the Silly Diver is that even though it's extremely powerful, the noise level is quite low and can not be heard through a closed door if you have a blanket on you, or background noise.

When I first tried the toy, I found the clitoral stimulator painful. I inserted the toy first, and then turned it on. I was not expecting this toy to be as powerful as it is, so I was quite surprised. Also, the other rabbit vibrators I own have at least 2 arms on the clitoral stimulator. The Silly Diver only has one, which I found to be less comfortable on my clit compared to my other rabbits with more than one arm on it. After the initial “ouch” I felt, I repositioned the clitoral stimulator, turned it to the “weakest” setting and was finished a few minutes later.

I used the toy again for the second time and because I was expecting the power, I did not find it painful. With the power of this toy, I finish extremely quickly. I can’t handle the stronger functions right now, but I’d rather have the stronger functions available if I want them compared to having weak functions that wouldn’t do a thing for me.

To clean the toy, soap and water is sufficient. I recommend cleaning the toy before and after each use because the material does collect dust, lint, etc. If you share the toy, either sterilize the vibrator with a 10% bleach solution, or cover the toy with a condom.

I’d recommend this toy to more experienced toy users, who already know that they like EXTREME power. I’m all about powerful toys, and this one blew me away on its weakest setting…

Overall I give the Silly Diver a 4 out of 5 rating. The reason it loses a star is because the clitoral stimulator is just too flippin’ much on the higher settings. It would have been more comfortable on the higher settings if: (1) the stimulator had more than one arm to apply the pressure to more than just one spot, or (2) the tip of the stimulator was a tad bit softer, or (3) my clitoris was made of steel. Other then that, I love this vibrator, and if you are a power-nut, you will too!
Follow-up commentary
I liked the Silly Diver already, but I've started to like it even more. As my experience with toys has grown, so has my need for strong power. The Silly Diver is still the strongest rabbit style vibrator that I own. Nothing has compared. I would only recommend the Silly Diver to those who want the serious, frighteningly strong vibrations.

Just wondering, what exactly do the beads do? I've seen beads in so many rabbits but in this toy it just looks like they spin rather than would add to sensation.
