Unlimited Orgasms

The Fairy Wand is an amazing toy if you don't mind the cord and a bit more noise than usual. The orgasms it can give you are well worth buying an extension cord, if necessary, and turning up the music.

Use

The Fairy Wand Massager is a versatile massager that works wonderfully for all-over body massage as well as intense clitoral stimulation.

This massager is great for tired muscles, solo play and could be incorporated for couples, although, it is likely too large to use comfortably for added stimulation during intercourse.

Material / Texture

The Fairy wand is made of food-grade plastics that are latex and phthalates free. The big, bulbous head is a semi-velvety texture, it is soft with a small amount of drag. This material is a bit squishy and flexible, but is affixed over a hard inner core, so you're not going to get much squish from it. The head is dome-shaped and has little indents running around the sides. I am not very sensitive and can't feel these in use, but they might be an annoyance to someone more sensitive trying to use the side of the wand clitorally.

Connecting the head to the body is a rubbery-feeling accordion neck that has a fair amount of flex to it. The body itself is made of two main textures: a smooth white plastic at the ends with a smooth pink plastic at the very bottom and a crackle-textured pink midsection that is good for gripping. The control dial is ribbed smooth plastic and easy to use. The power cord feels strong and solid.

The toy has no smell that I can detect, even right under my nose.

Design / Shape / Size

The Fairy wand is a traditional wand massager, like the Hitachi. It's big, although, I was a bit surprised how light it is for its size, it doesn't feel cheap but it has not been a strain to hold.

The Fairy is big. It's about 14 inches long, not including the cord. Holding it against the crook of my elbow, it reaches the medial interphalangeal joint of my middle finger. The head is 2.5x2.5" and is about 7.5" in circumference, cupping the head feels like holding a tennis ball. The neck is about 3/4" long and 1" wide. The body alone is about 10 and 3/4 inches and about 6" in circumference in the middle, tapering to a point where the outlet encircles the cord. The word "fairy" appears in purple at the top of the body and there are heat vents on the back along with Media Craft's logo.

Big!

It's pink and white and looks rather cute and innocent. While some may associate wand massagers with carnal pleasures, I think that to the average person this could be seen as the wonderful body massager that it certainly is. It is rather large and wouldn't be overlooked if left out, but I've had no problem storing it.

It is not very heavy and feels light for its size. I've used this for extended periods of time and haven't had a problem with the weight and size, although, I am in good joint and muscle health. If you don't use lubrication, you can put it in place and let the weight be supported by your body, not your limbs (which also adds some nice pressure).

The Fairy wand is corded and plugs into your standard AC outlet. I haven't had a problem with the cord length, but I have an outlet right near the head of my bed. I feel the cord is rather short if you don't have an outlet right by your bed, and you may very well need to pick up an extension cord for this toy. I don't have an exact measure for the cord, but measuring it against the body, it seems to be about 80" long, or approximately 6.5 feet. It's a good length, but I know that couldn't reach any of my other outlets with it. A $2 extension cord will, however, solve this problem completely!

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Fairy is controlled by the single dial near the midpoint of its body. This gives you complete control over the intensity and you can go up and down at will. To turn it on, you just scroll the wheel downward until it clicks on. The dial is oriented so that if the toy's head is between your legs, you'll be turning the dial up to increase intensity, but it's a bit "upside-down" if held with the head upright. This makes it easy to not have to think about it during sexual play.

There are no patterns or pulses, but this toy is incredibly strong and does the job just fine without them.

The Fairy wand has a great range, as well. When first turned on, it starts off pretty mild, it's in the middle of the vibration strength of my strong rechargeable toys (MiMi, Tango, Leaf) but a quick scroll of the dial quickly surpasses them all. The top speed is incredibly powerful, more so than any other toy I've tried and I'm at a loss to compare.

The vibrations don't feel particularly buzzy to me, not in the way that I would say the Pocket Fairy or a watch-battery bullet would be, although, I wouldn't call them particularly rumbly, either. They're strong and create an intense zone of vibrations around the head as the intensity goes up. On higher levels, there's certainly the possibility for numbing, although, it hasn't stopped me from finding it pleasurable.

This is the one toy I can just place down there, increase speed and eventually orgasm. A little movement is nice and helps, but it's not necessary for me.

It's certainly not waterproof and not suitable for the bath or shower. That's not the kind of electro-play you want, trust me!

My main worry with this toy is how noisy it would be. I was surprised, but pleasantly so. This toy is amazingly not as loud as I expected it would be! You can hear it through the covers, sure, but I left it on high and can barely hear it outside my door. You can't hear the high-pitched noise it makes that far away, just a low hum. Walking a few feet from my door, I couldn't hear it at all. I am very pleasantly surprised by this!

If you're bothered by the sound during use is up to personal taste. For the power, I can easily put up with it, and you can drown it out with music if you'd like.

Care and Maintenance

Since this toy is plastic, you can use water-based, oil, or silicone lubricants with it. You'll have to do more work to keep it in place, but it will get rid of that drag and can add some sensation.

To clean the wand, you can very carefully use soap and water or isopropyl alcohol. The toy isn't waterproof, so I would use a damp cloth if I was going the soap and water route and then dry with a fresh one. I use wipes to clean the Fairy wand and this makes it very easy!

The indents on the head might prove challenging if you expose them to lubricant. This toy is so powerful, that you could cover the head in fabric or use through clothing as well.

I store this wand in my Toy Bag (the Eden tote bag! Only $2!), but you could put it in a drawer or anywhere it will fit so long as it's cool, dry and dark. To store, I've been putting a sock over its head because I don't want anything poking the softer plastic, and I plan on making a bag for it, eventually.

Packaging

The Fairy comes in a minimal oblong box with a picture of itself, the word "fairy", silhouette of a fairy and some Japanese text on it. Open the box and there it is, covered in a thin sleeve of plastic. Minimal. No manual, but the toy is simple to figure out.

It's not discreet in that it shows the toy inside, but it's not sexual and neither is the wand itself, so it's a toss-up of if you care if anyone knows you have a wand massager that could possibly be used on certain parts of the body.

You could use this box for storage, it doesn't take up any more room than the toy itself would.

    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Personal comments

If you like intense vibration and don't yet own a big wand, you absolutely must try one.

Experience

It was only a little while ago that Je Joue's MiMi gave me my first ever orgasm. It was only a day ago that the Fairy Wand gave me several hours of continuous orgasmic delight.

I think perhaps the numbing is what let me keep going so long. Even after an hour, my body still wanted more and didn't want to put it down. But after a few hours it was getting pretty warm, and I convinced myself to give it a rest and spare its motor the heat. It took a long time thereafter for my body to "wake up" from the semi-numbness and realize it was so sensitive it didn't want to be touched any more.

I've used this toy directly up to the highest level, and though there were times I wanted to turn it up higher, it was not really necessary to go all that way to experience what really amounts to unlimited orgasms for hours on end. Intensity of the orgasms varied, but there were strong ones even at the end and I was incredibly satisfied and very happy; my heart was beating fast and I was out of breath.

I've very bluntly "hinted" to the bf that I want a wand for Valentine's day. Let's hope he gets the message.

What a great review & personal journey! I am so happy for you having been able to orgasm now, with the use of toys! I'm not sure about this one because I prefer deep rumbles, but I enjoyed your review!
