Difficulty Having An Orgasm

Contributor: NCG NCG
Hello everyone. I have been having extreme difficulty orgasming for the past several years. I have never orgasmed through masturbation and, this may sound weird, have only orgasmed through mental stimulation (which happens very infrequently, and doesn't seem to work anymore). Last year I started buying sex toys to see if they would help (such as vibrators) and I still could not orgasm. I recently bought the magic wand because of how everyone seems to rave about how good and powerful it is. I tried using it and still could not orgasm. I felt the intensity rise in my body like I was about to orgasm but it subsided and my clitoris became ultra sensitive and uncomfortable to touch. I have been to my OBGYN and my PCP and they did not seem to know what the problem could be. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ok so I've always had troubles with orgasm, so it feels nice to know that there are others with similar issues to mine. My doctors didn't know what to do about it either. I ended up taking things into my own hands and discovering pressure-wave toys. Basically they're toys that send contactless air vibrations at your clit (or nipple, if you place it there; feels nice too) and it stimulates both the external and internal parts. If you're not a squirter, you might end up becoming one - so either use these in the shower or with a towel or two underneath you. I can't get enough and i almost always end up buying every model i find online. At this point I have like 10-15 of them lol.

Here are my favorites in no particular order: LELO Sona, LELO Sona Cruise 2 my review of the Sona Cruise 2, LELO Sila my review on the Sila. If you have a larger clit, I wouldn't suggest the Sona models. Get a Satisfyer Pro 3+ my review of the Satisfyer Pro 3+ instead.

I especially like using them in tandem with a soft, dual-density silicone dildo like the Vixskin Mustang, Vixskin Goodfella my Goodfella review, or Vixskin Johnny, on which i practice my kegels while masturbating. The stronger your kegels, the more powerful (and easy it is to get) orgasms.

Honestly any VixSkin model is awesome. Only some pressure-wave toys are good.

All these things aside, it all depends on you - what works for me, may not work for you. I wish you the best of luck, feel free to message me if you have any specific questions!

I agree with @iovys that the best way to overwhelm the issue here is to take things into your own hands and listen to your body.

I belong to those women who can't orgasm without clit stimulation. So, for me, clitoral stimulation is the most important part I pay attention to.

I'd suggest you reading this article on clitoral masturbation techniques and try all of them to find the one that works best for you.

Also, I recommend mixing the stimulation. Rabbit vibrators are the best here. With two motors in the shaft and the clitoral attachment, these are always ready to deliver strong orgasmic sensations. The important thing here is discovering all the functions and features and learning how to use a rabbit vibrator for maximum pleasure. This guide could be of help.

I like the Saiph as it features an extra-large c-spot attachment. Another great option is the Lingua. Its shaft vibrates in 7 powerful modes, and the silicone petals ensure tongue-like licking sensations. This toy is amazing for dual pleasure. Also, Also, I consider trying the Triple O butterfly; its butterfly attachment looks very attractive.

Hope it helps!

Leil@ makes a good point - there are also some rabbit styled toys with pressure-wave clit parts. For those, i really like the Womanizer DUO, which I reviewed as well. As per my title, I don't give 5 star ratings often, but this one definitely deserved it. It is very, very pricey, so I would strongly suggest trying one of the cheaper ones I linked in my previous post before diving into the deep end with this one.

LELO also recently released their version of a pressure-wave rabbit toy called the LELO Enigma, but mine is still in shipping, so I can't say if it's good or not yet. I will either update tthis post or post again if a few weeks with my opinion.
