The best use for this toy in my opinion is anally as an anal probe, it's not too girthy so I don't think it would be as good to use vaginally, it's suited for both guys and gals alike really though. It's not overly a challenge either and just requires a little patience, a tiny bit of lube and to be relaxed. Being made from pyrex glass means that the Emerald Explorer has no give to it.

Because of the Emerald Explorer's complete lack of flexibility you do want to know that you can accept its decent sized girth without much issue. Although this toy is designed as more of a thrusting toy, you should still be careful as it is solid and the anal canal is delicate and should be treated with care.

This toy isn't meant to be a plug in my opinion though. The lack of something to keep it firmly in place when in use (aka bigger bubbles) and the large handle that just gets in the way if you try and sit on it makes it uncomfortable for that purpose.

Since it's made of tempered glass, it has no smell (unless it's just been used of course and has yet to get cleaned heh), is firm/unforgiving, and is perfectly smooth all over from the tip and bubbles all the way to the handle. Again though if you are unsure that you can handle the girth of the Emerald Explorer I'd suggest maybe going with something slightly smaller. Its seamless and smooth texture makes it easy to insert and the bubbles make for great fun in anal use.

I loved the design and color from the second I laid my eyes on the Emerald Explorer. It's a gorgeous shade of green which I absolutely love, although for a moderate to advanced user such as myself it lacks a bit more girth that I would appreciate. However, it still is a wonderful glass toy to own and have invested in. The 'bubble wand' design is very enjoyable when in use and while thrusting it in and out it's even better. I'd say this toy is very much do-able for even the beginners out there unless you're really tight or have scar tissue or something like that anally. Because of its relatively small-ish size I wouldn't recommend it vaginally but I suppose it could work that way as well.

The Emerald Explorer is an all-around winner when it comes to glass toys for both beginners and advanced users alike. The fact that it's so easy to use and take care of are definitely two wonderful qualities this toy has; along with the pretty color and fun design. The *only* complaint I could possibly give this toy is that it's not as girthy as I was hoping so if they ever come out with an 'upgraded' version of this (and add another inch in length perhaps) I would fall in love with that one just as much.

The Emerald Explorer is made of tempered glass so it can be washed with warm water and antibacterial soap, washed with a 10% bleach solution, rubbed down with toy cleaner, or even boiled for three minutes. You can use nearly any kind of lube you like just realize some lubricants irritate the anal cavity so be a bit careful and know it won't ahead of time. Very little lubrication is needed for glass toys, a few dollops of water based or silicone will be MORE than enough. As I mentioned, most of them come with a velvet bag (mine didn't but I'm getting a better bag because of that so yay!) to store it in and keep all the lint and dust away from it.

Mine came in just some bubble wrap without the bag it was supposed to but I contacted customer support and they've sent me a toy pouch (https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-essentials/toy-storage/toy-pouch) free of charge; which was very nice of them as it's much better than the bag that the Emerald Explorer would have come with had it come with the toy.

This was a great introduction to glass toys and has gotten me hooked on future purchases, I do wish it had been more wide/girthy but I was just being careful when I ordered so that I knew for sure I could use it with ease, I still will love it for it's pretty appearance and 'bloopy' (is that a word? who cares!) bubble design.
