My favorite things about this toy are that it has a handle and is made of glass. I bought this toy primarily for anal use, and it worked out just as I'd hoped. If you're not into anal, this toy is also good for vaginal intercourse. Being that it is glass, it can be a little cold sometimes, but if you hold it in your hands for a few seconds it warms right up. This toy also wipes clean in seconds.

The explorer comes in a beautiful green color hints the name and has 5 bulbous shapes which increases in size the further you insert it which feels great too because of its slick texture. This toy may be a little too thick if your just starting to get into anal. The thickest buldge is 1 1/4". On the other hand it could be to short for the more advanced with an insetable length of 4 1/2".

Made of pyrex glass, the material safety rates a 10 out of 10 which I think it deserves for having such features as food-grade material, being hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. It also doesn't weight much. It's only 9 oz and comes in a nice velvety drawstring pouch for safe keeping and/or traveling. I like to keep mine in the pouch so it doesn't hit anything else. Like mentioned before this toy wipes clean in seconds, but is also able to be set in a 10% bleach solution, boilable, and dishwasher safe on the top rack.


If you are going to use this toy for anal exploration, any lube will work. Keep in mind that lube on glass can make things slick. Another great feature about this item is that it does have a 2 inch ring shaped handle which helps prevent from accidental losses and allows for steady and controlled thrusting. You can even try it in the tub or shower. Last, but not least this toy is great for temperature play you can easily cool the glass down by sticking it under cool water or heat it up with some warm water. Either way things could get interesting.

Like stated previously I bought the Emerald Explorer to have some anal fun. Lets just say I had my fun and then some. The toy was everything I hoped for and more.

I still love this toy to this very day. I'm even starting to use it more often. More toys should be this good.
