Not Just For Beginners!

These plugs are marketed for beginners, but I think they should just be called Anal Kit by NMC Ltd. They can be enjoyed equally by men and women of all comfort and experience levels. They're completely safe, extremely soft, really easy to care for and just generally really great anal toys. Whether you're just venturing into anal play or have been playing for a long time, there is something in this kit for everyone!

Use

This anal kit by NMC Ltd is designed with anal beginners in mind. While it's marketed for beginners, it's just as easily used and enjoyed by people who are more experienced in anal play. These plugs can be used by users of either gender, so long as they like anal toys that don't have a lot of girth to them.

This anal kit has no safety precautions associated with it because all the pieces are made of body-safe silicone, complete with appropriately sized flared bases.

Material / Texture

The Beginner Anal Kit is made of 100 percent non-porous, body-safe silicone making it a 10 out of 10 on Eden's Material Safety Scale. Other things that make this a 10 out of 10 are that these plugs are made of a food-grade material, they're hypoallergenic, latex free and phthalates free. They have no taste to them whatsoever and no scent, even when held directly under the nose.

These toys are velvety smooth in texture with the exception of a barely noticeable seam running the length of each toy. When inserted, the seam is unnoticeable which is a great thing. They are plushy and soft, but not squishy and they are flexible, but not overly bendable. Smooth textures are great for beginners just starting out, but there is no reason why advanced users couldn't use these plugs and enjoy them just as much as a novice. These safe toys are completely unrealistic, but just as fun nonetheless.

Design / Shape / Size

There are three toys in this anal kit that are all smallish in size and easily hidden. They aren't realistic at all, as a matter of fact, they're not designed in a phallic way at all. These toys range in size from 4 to 4 3/4 inches tall, 1 to 1 1/2 inch wide and from 3 to 3 1/2 inches in circumference. The bases of these toys are all 2 1/4 inches.

Pink Plug:

Soft, pink silicone that stands 4 inches high by 1 inch wide by 3 inches in circumference. It has a slightly curved tip for easy entrance, tapering out to three slightly larger balls. At the base of the third ball, it gets smaller and then is attached to the 2 1/4 inch base.

Lavender Plug:

Soft, lavender silicone that stands 4 3/4 inches high by 1 1/8 inch wide by 3 1/2 inches in circumference. It has a slightly curved, thin tip leading into a gradually larger shaft that leads to one ball at the bottom connecting it to the 2 1/4 inch base.

Black Plug:

Soft, black silicone that stands 4 1/2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches in circumference. It has a slightly curved tip leading into a crescent moon shape, getting wider on one side leading to the base where it tapers off and gets smaller where it attaches to the base of the toy.

All three of these plugs have bases that act as suction cups, which is something handy that wasn't stated on the product page anywhere. These are fairly discreet toys, but anyone that knows what sex toys are will be able to easily identify these as such. If discretion is a must, tuck these toys away after use or during travel.

Performance

I personally think the lavender toy is the easiest to begin with because it has only a slight curve to it and makes for the easiest insertion with the least amount of effort.

The pink plug has the most staying power as far as a plug goes because of the balls making it stay in place easier once inserted. It's probably the scariest of the three for beginners because of the shape, so I'd suggest saving it for when you're more comfortable with anal play.

The black plug has a thin tip leading into a curved, crescent moon shaft that was the most pleasurable for me. The curve hit all the right places and held it in place really well, too.

All of these plugs are harness compatible and the bases act as suction cups when pressed against flat surfaces. They held up against the wall of my bedroom as well as my shower making them really great as there are a lot of people that only get privacy in the shower.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is the easiest material to care for and maintain because it's a non-porous material. It can be sanitized in a 10% bleach solution, boiled for three minutes, tossed in the top rack of the dishwasher, hand washed with anti-bacterial soap and hot water or wiped clean with a toy cleaner. While silicone repels dirt and bacteria, it also attracts lint like crazy so let it air dry or gently wipe it dry with a lint-free cloth before you store it away.

Silicone toys are easily stored anywhere that you store toys. This set came in a plastic bag that had to be ripped open to get at the toys so I store mine in my toy box in individual Ziploc baggies.

Silicone is compatible with water-based lubricants only so if you want the longest life for your silicone toys, steer clear of oil and silicone-based lubricants.

Packaging

The Beginner Anal Kit came packaged in a clear plastic bag promoting Edenfantasys and all it has to offer. It's not at all discreet because it states that it contains a Beginner Anal Kit and displays the toys through the clear plastic package. There were no instructions for use, care or maintenance included with the toys. In order to get to the product, you have to rip the bag open so it's useless for storage after that. It's not a suitable package for gift-giving.

There is nothing indicating that this package is recyclable so discard with caution.

Personal comments

With these plugs, as well as with any other sex toys, use condoms or proper toy covers if they are going to be shared toys.

Experience

I'm no anal play beginner, but my supply of anal toys has dwindled a lot over the years so I thought that I would give these a try and I'm really glad that I did. I enjoy smaller anal toys because I'm not comfortable with a large anal toy. These were smooth enough to make them glide in with ease with just a little bit of water-based lube and I got a lot of use out of all of them the first night I owned them. I really enjoy the lavender toy for thrusting and the black toy as just a plug. I'm not a huge fan of the pink toy because I don't love the balls as they're just a little too much for me.
Follow-up commentary

I've gradually worked up to using all of these toys rather than sticking to just the lavender one that I found favorable and am pleased to say that the pink toy is my new favorite. The sensation is much different than the other two and it's thoroughly enjoyable!

I still really like this toy and stand by my review and overall rating of this anal kit.
