To preface this review, let me tell you that I am very, very new to sex toys, and was very, very anxious about any sort of anal play. I bought the toys on a whim, my curiosity was piqued, and I had hoped that actually purchasing the toys would inspire me to at least give anal a try.

Oh, dear goodness, I am soooo glad I did.

For one thing, these are the PERFECT toys for beginners; they aren't intimidating at all, they're very simple and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to play with them.

They're best used with (water-based) lube, but I actually got away with using them lube-free a few times - nothing painful or uncomfortable about them. Their slim tips are perfect for an easy insertion.

The silicone material is firm, but not too firm; you can manipulate it a wee little bit if you apply some force, but that's not why it's notable. The bottom part of the plug, the flared end, is wide enough that you can hold a vibrator against it and feel it through the silicone material. It's a great way to amp up your play and make you feel more comfortable about anal.

The silicone is silky smooth, and so far I haven't had any trouble with it attracting much lint, despite the fact that I use them in bed pretty often.

The flared end of the plug actually doubles as a suction cup! I haven't incorporated this into play yet, but it definitely helps with storage! The plugs are small enough not to intimidate beginners, although I can't say what a veteran to anal sex would think of the size.

The shortness of the necks on each of the plugs is a bit problematic, the plugs don't stay in long at all, unless you sit or lie a certain way, but really, with these plugs, longevity in play isn't often necessary as these are clearly plugs for beginners. To be perfectly honest, I was relieved by how easily they went in and came out.

It's very simple to care for these toys, simply pop them in the dishwasher! Although, I'd give them a quick wash in the bathroom sink first! If you need to be discreet, or don't have a dishwasher, you can easily wash these plugs with soap and hot water, or let them sit in boiling water for a few minutes.

Lube isn't actually necessary for these plugs - as a first time anal girl I was fine with pushing them in without any lube on hand because of the silkiness of the silicone, but it can be a bit discomforting. Water-based lubes work best, absolutely NO silicone-based lubes or your toy may become damaged.
