The small Plug of Lust is an excellent beginner butt plug. It is very small. It's extremely smooth and soft with a velvety texture. The 100% silicone plug is also very pliable, which is great to aid insertion.

When using this, I found that too much lube is definitely a bad thing. It caused the plug to just slide out without notice. The whole point of a butt plug is for it to stay in, right? I think the main problem was that it was not tapered enough towards the bottom. The narrow part after the bulge wasn't quite narrow enough to keep the butt plug in place. We rinsed some of the lube off and carried on, though. As long as you use just a tiny bit of lube, you should have no problem.

If you're wondering just how small the Plug of Lust is; it has about 2 inches of insertable length, just enough to provide stimulation without being overpowering or overwhelming. I actually purchased this without looking to see how long it was and was a little disappointed. (Mostly in myself for not reading.) It's a little too small for my tastes, but it would work perfectly if you're new to anal stimulation. It is very well constructed with no seams. The removal ring is firmly attached, and even with some rough tugging stayed put.

Because it is 100% silicone, it's very easy to clean and to keep clean. You could cover it with a condom if you really needed to, but the condom might be a nuisance during play. I just wash it with hot water and antibacterial soap before and after each use. I also make sure it's completely dry before putting it away in my toy drawer.

I think this is perfect for both men and women to enjoy a little anal stimulation during intercourse or solo play.
