Plug of Anal Enlightenment (and Lust)

This is a darling beginner butt plug. It is very small, curvy, cute, and is made of body-safe medical grade silicone. Looks great in and out. However, if you are not an anal beginner, this plug is definitely not for you. It's just that small.

This little guy was my very first anal plug. I have since moved on to bigger and better things, but I am very glad I started out with this lovely plug. It is very small - only one inch in diameter and two insertable inches - curvy, and not at all intimidating. I started out an anal skeptic and am now quite the enthusiast, and it all started with the Plug of Lust.

This toy is made of 100% medical grade silicone, which is easily washed with soap and water or boiled to sterilize. It, along with stainless steel, is the absolute safest toy material, and in my opinion, the best anyhow. This particular toy has a soft, rubbery exterior, and has a bit of give - it'll bounce on a hard surface, to give you an idea. My one complaint about the material is that there is a seam running along the length of the toy that can be a bit irritating sometimes. But overall, this is quite well-made, especially for the price.

Visually, I think this toy is super cute (as you can see from the pictures). It's curvy and kinda looks like a ring pop. It's flared enough that one needn't worry about losing it up the chute. What you can't see from the pictures is that it also looks adorable in your butt. The little loop, which is for pulling the toy out when you're done, makes you look like some kind of wind up toy. Another bonus about the loop is that I found that if you weave your finger through it, you can turn the plug round and round for extra stimulation.

As I said before, this toy is on the small side, and if you're not a beginner, it'll probably bore you. But if you're a beginner, this is really an ideal first plug--non-threatening, cute, and comfortable.
Experience
For anyone who doesn't know how to use a plug, here's a little run down: you clean the plug, lube it up (with a water based lube--this plug isn't compatible with silicone lubricants), lube yourself up, and slowly - SLOWLY - ease the plug in. Once it's in, you can turn it like I said, or just go about your normal sexy business. My boyfriend was thrilled to find that this made my pussy significantly tighter, despite the toy's small diameter.
Follow-up commentary
I have somewhat grown out of this plug. I find I can start warming up with a larger plug. It was great for starting out, but personally, I sterilized this one and handed it off to a less-anally-experienced friend.

This may be a dumb question, but is an anal plug an acquired taste? I have never tried one, and not sure how it could be pleasurable?
  • Contributor: lexical
azurapril1...It's definitely not something for everyone Smile I, personally, deeply enjoy anal, so the feel of a plug in my ass is very pleasant for me. If you're curious, you should try one! Or better yet, carefully lube up a finger and try that first. If it feels good to you, there are a number of great, slim anal plugs for beginners here on EF Smile

Oh I didn't know about that extended review thing...is that why some reviews have more sections?

Nice review! Does it stay in once inserted? I am debating between this and the Love Pacifier.
  • Contributor: The Wolf
This one stays in very well. I've never had it pop out. This one is a bit smaller than the love pacifier...if this is your first the plug of lust might be a good way to go.

I found the same thing happenned to me over time with my smaller toys. Great review.

That stinks you no longer like this toy!

Is this smaller than the Tantus Ripple small or the FunFactory Bootie? I am completely new to anal and find those plugs to be a bit much. I have a very hard time getting the Bootie in place and then can't stand to wear it long. With the Ripple, I can't get the last bloop in at all. The small Tantus Flirt is a little easier to insert, but it pops out sometimes. Just wondering if there is something smaller out there that will stay in place while I get used to this. I also wonder whether I'll ever like the sensation.
  • Contributor: The Wolf
Yes, this toy is smaller than the ripple and bootie. It's not exactly comparable to the flirt, because that is a different shape. But I definitely recommend this to start out with. And I think you will get used to it. Just relaz, breathe, and pile on the lube.
