The best use for this product is to show off, maybe the light foreplay, and then take off. They may hold up once or twice during sex, but they tend to slip and be awkward getting on and off. It is much more suited for beginners, hence why I first got them!

The overall design of the product is not bad. I understand the concept of light BDSM and the goal for comfort, but the pink sleeves that fit over the metal part of the cuffs easily get in they way when trying to put the cuffs on, and they get snagged in the cuffs themselves. Also, the cuffs tend to get worn out rather easily. I feel that if you simply use these for foreplay and show, they would be quiet nice. I took the sleeves off, and I am left with cheap handcuffs that I can easily get out of. They do not feel comfortable. The metal is not top grade, though for the price, I would not expect them to be.

I have had mine for several years but have not used them too often. Within a short time, they have essentially broken. When I put them on, they no longer lock properly. I am constantly falling out of them. Now, I did use them a lot for sex which put strain on them. I don't feel that is what they are intended for. They come with keys, which I never use because they have a safety latch (a quick release mechanism) that you push in that releases the cuffs. This is the problem because the latch sticks, and the cuffs never want to lock again. It takes a lot of messing with to get them to lock, and that is a total mood killer. They are comfortable with the fuzzy sleeves, but the sleeves make them difficult to put on and take off.

I store this product with my other toys - beside my bed - and try to keep them clean by not leaving them out to collect dust. If I wanted to, I could take the sleeves off and put them through the wash on the gentle cycle. I am sure they would be fine, though I have never done it. Also, I left them attached/tied to my bed, and they got dirty because they fell under the bed and were forgotten about, so I took the sleeves off. Now I just use the cuffs without fur.

I bought mine a few years ago, so it is really hard to remember the packaging in great detail, but I do know that they came in a box that is NOT discreet because you could see the handcuffs while they were in the box. The packaging did not flatten the fur, which was nice, and they were ready to use right out of the box. They came with keys, and therefore probably had directions for use, but I cannot remember.

If you are a beginner, the comfort and cuteness is enough reason to buy these. Just keep in mind that they are intended for light use, and that if you want to kick your BDSM up a notch, invest elsewhere. I liked them because they are sexy and more seductive then the plain, silver handcuffs. Also, for beginners, if you get freaked out at all, the quick release latch does work and lets me free every time, so I never have to worry about getting stuck or losing the keys.

My master and I still use these, but just because we have not invested in better BDSM ones. I feel that because of our rough sex and the strain I have put on them, they don't want to work as well. Also, as I mentioned before, the metal is not top grade, so I am sure it is much easier to bend and warp. If you do not wear the fur, which I no longer do, the metal can rub and be harsh on the skin, but that will come with most metal restraints. I feel that if you are looking for something comfortable AND durable, you should get cuffs that conform to the wrist and have some type of fur or cushion on the inside - like these. I don't have this exact pair, but mine are very similar, and I use them as ankle cuffs.
