The Fur Handcuffs by Pipedream are another of those products that you buy on a whim just because they're inexpensive and might get used one day. Calling them "Fur Handcuffs" is a bit of a misnomer though, since the fur is fake (no problems there), and is just a flimsy cover that slips over the cuffs.

The cuffs themselves are exactly what you'd expect for the price. They're fairly lightweight, but a little more substantial than the kind of play cuffs you might get with a Halloween outfit. They're definitely not the type of thing that are going to appeal to anyone with the least bit of BDSM experience, and are probably aimed more at the kind of people who just want to experiment with a little kink in the bedroom.



Included with the cuffs are two ornate little keys. These are more form than function though, since each cuff has a little lever attached that allows the wearer to quickly slip out of them should the need arise. Since the chain between the two cuffs is almost 3 3/4" long, it's really not that hard to move your wrists around to a point where you can easily escape.

The "fur" is nothing more than the kind of cheap covering you get on a Dollar Store toy. It's a nice shade of pink, though perhaps a little girly for some people. Still, they help to make the cuffs less intimidating, so that's probably why these perhaps didn't come in black. I haven't tried to wash the covering, but since they're easily removed I imagine you could clean them in a washer on a gentle cycle or wash them by hand if needed. Similarly, the cuffs themselves don't need much looking after (although you definitely wouldn't want to put those in the washing machine). As you can probably tell, no care instructions were included with these, and I actually didn't get any information at all other than "Made In China", so I don't even know exactly what these are made from. Sorry!



All in all these are probably a nice buy if you're looking for some "pretend restraint" or are in the mood for some non-threatening, light play. More experienced players will want to steer clear or pick up something a little more substantial.
