Fetish Fantasy Series furry love cuffs by Pipedream - review by Midway through

I purchased these thinking, hey, sort of kinky and cute right? Wrong. The fur lining does little to stop the cuffs from actually leaving marks, and I got a blister from them. Obviously I like to try on anything I'm going to use for my subs and with good reason. The design is faulty because the cuffs are too small. Even on the largest setting, only a dainty person could fit in these. I'm a pretty good sized girl, and my subs are about my size, there is no way I would put them through this. The fur padding is nice, but the cuff itself is too tight, the padding only makes it slightly worse, or more comfortable depending on how you see it. Instead of metal grating on your skin, you grate metal through a fake fur lining. Woohoo. Not fun at all.

On another level, they have a safety release, which can be convenient; however I personally like police style. If my subs can release themselves without keys, then it's not true helplessness, and therefore, I'm not really impressed. I could understand full body restraint needing quick release, but handcuffs? The worst that can happen is if you put them behind your back you might struggle to run if your house caught fire. Even in that event, explaining furry handcuffs to the neighbors isn't that embarrassing. There's really not a need for a quick release in my personal opinion.

I'd say maybe if you wanted a silly gag gift for a party or something, this might work for you; or maybe if you wanted to decorate and use it as a decoration of some sort? There's not really much you can do with it as far as actual use goes. Otherwise, all it does is sit there and look pretty and perhaps slightly kinky. It is not something I would put on my significant other, a sub, or myself again.

As I mentioned before, I tried these on for a photo shoot recently, wore them perhaps 20 minutes total doing shots and was completely uncomfortable. It hurt, and left nasty marks and a blister due to sizing. There was not an option to buy a larger size for this particular set. The largest setting was what I was using, still painful. And that's only 20 minutes. I can only imagine what my subs would feel like in this after an hour.

I've started to like these a bit more, though they're still not my favorite. I added extra padding to the fur by stuffing the area between the cuff and the fur cover with a line of thicker padding. It's made these more bearable. However, they are still fairly small. I will say that I wouldn't actually go out of my way to recommend them to anyone, but I have started to play with them more personally.
