Review of Under the bed restraint system - Bondage system

This is a great beginner kit for some very light bondage play. As long as your mattress is somewhat mobile, the straps are fast and easy to set up. The four end straps with the cuffs have adjustable length, so leave them loose to start out with, then strap your partner in and then pull them tight to restrict your partner's motion. A simple blindfold can also go a long way in enhancing the use of the restraints.

Beware, if you have a flimsy mattress and a squirmy partner, there is a possibility that the mattress will curl up when your partner struggles against it. Then again, if you're looking for a serious bondage kit, I suggest you look elsewhere. This makes for a great restraint if you want to spend your night slowly and sensuously tickling and teasing your partner. Warning, they might catch you off guard another day and strap you in and torture you with the same tickling and teasing!

The straps are connected with some metal rings that go under the bed. Each end-cuff is also attached to the strap end with a ring - clip - ring structure.

The cuffs are lined with velvet and held closed by Velcro. The Velcro holds up pretty darn well, so don't expect to be able to easily get out of the cuffs. However in case of an emergency, you can bend your wrist and try to unclip the cuff where it's attached to the strap ends.

Overall, the construction of the restraints and products used seem sturdy and durable. Beware of the metal parts near the cuff catching on your bedsheets, or the Velcro causing the cloth to pill. The restraints fit double and queen beds well. They might be funny to use with a twin bed, but I imagine they prolly work fine on a king bed too (unless you're really small and need extra long straps).

The first time I set up the restraints, it took my partner and me a few minutes to set it up. After then, we have moved the restraints from my apartment to my partner's apartment and vice-versa multiple times and the setup is speedy and painless.

We tested the restraints on a double as well as queen bed, and they easily fit differently sized people. The end straps are held by the plastic connectors you see on backpacks etc. It's simple to change their length and they stay put at the length you leave them at. This ensures that the restraints hold up to any amount of tugging or squirming.

The velvet on the cuff is pretty nice and the Velcro is strong. The cuffs hold well and don't really cause chafing or any problems. It's easy to change where the cuffs are fastened and leads to some fun positions!

The straps are long, but they're not really bulky and fold up well. The restraints are super easy to store and transport.

We haven't found a need to clean these yet, but I imagine that you could take all the metal rings and plastic connectors off and then run the straps through the wash. The velvet cuffs are bound to soak up things if you spill on it and might be a little harder to clean.

The packaging is pretty raunchy and comes with minimal instructions. You don't really need much to set these up, so the lack of instructions is not a huge deal. However, if you're trying to sneak this product somewhere with you the girl wearing underwear in the restraints on the front is a dead giveaway.

I'd suggest you use these with a partner that you trust and have faith in. Bondage play is fun as long as you are assured that you will be safe no matter what, and that you can get out of it whenever you feel like it. Make sure to come up with a safeword before you start and make sure your partner knows your limits.
