If you're moving on down the road on the anal route 66, you should definitely consider this toy. Harness compatible, super safe, super clean, sterilizable silicone, and such a pretty color! The subtle texture stimulates and gently opens. This is a quality toy that will last longer than you do.

Pros
Pretty, safe material, harness compatible, great for anal (small, flared base, P-spot curve)
Cons
May not be large enough to fulfill many for vaginal use
Tantus has taken a beautiful piece of art and turned it into an all-around marvelous dildo. The Acute is a wonderful dildo for beginners as well as those climbing up the anal ladder, or simply for those who prefer smaller objects in their sacred holes.
Should you be into strap-on harnesses and gender role-reversal (or if you're without a penis and like to dick down a lady every once in a while) you'll be pleased with this dildo. While on the thin side, the base is still sturdy enough to use comfortably and carefreely in a harness. So peg away!
The small base makes it a bit awkward for thrusting, as the average-sized palm may engulf it rather than easily support the dildo in the fist. The thin profile of the base makes it flimsy too. On the flip side, that same small bit of silicone is still a sufficient safety net for anal play. You'll never have to marvel at the wonder of sphincter muscles suddenly sucking the toy up into a black orifice abyss.
The Acute's gentle curve near the tip is also great for G or P-spotting, which is such a lovely feature. If you ask me, a toy for made insertion that does not have a curve is really missing the point. Or spot.
If you're really into temperature play, I've found that silicone is also an über-sturdy, wonderful material that can be used hot or cold. Freeze for an hour or two for a shockingly cool experience. Boil it for a minute or two and try out the strange sensation of deep warmth inside you. Silicone is such an awesome material that it won't burn or freezer-burn you. Like my home state of Kentucky, "It's that friendly."
*Safety note: Be sure to check the temperature on the sensitive skin on the inside of your wrist, like a baby bottle, before using internally. While burning is highly unlikely, it's always better to be safe than sorry, no?
This great little dildo is also compact enough to throw into a nondescript ziplock bag and toss into your purse when traveling to a lover's, a party or out of town. However if you're worried about its discovery, hide it in a sock. Despite its great color and mildly abstract design, this dildo still looks like one.
I encourage beginners to start with silicone and forget about jelly toys. Rubber jelly contains phlalates which literally break down over time. And you know where those fragments end up? *Shudder.*
My first toy was made from jelly and it ended up burning my insides as it degraded over time. Eventually even a condom wasn't enough to protect my poor flowerpot from the toxicity of the off-gassing chemicals. Talk about dangerous, let alone yucky.
Silicone is my very favorite adult toy material. It's versatile: it's soft to a point, then firm enough to stand up to thrusting. It's boilable, easy to clean, and the smooth satin finish used here particularly cuts down on the dreaded lint-roller feature that some toys have. Silicone has no nasty smell, and will never degrade. Like, you'll be decomposing before this baby is. All around, silicone is a very high quality material. I'm kind of in love with it.
The gorgeous marbled white swirls snaking the silicone surface of our cute friend are what got my goiter from the start. Never before had I seen such a pretty dildo! The smooth satin finish leaves the surface shiny and a little lackadaisical when it comes to holding lube, but I don't mind.
Again, this is really designed so well for beginners. It is so smooth in texture and the size is very non-invasive and manageable. The only drawback is a lack of a tapered head, which would be handy for anal. Though the toy is delightfully abstract, it does feature a slight 'head-like' prominence at the tip, for a more realistic look and feel, as well as extra stimulation. There are three ridges on the underbelly of the Acute that make gripping it for insertion easy.
At 5" insertable and just a slim 1 1/4" diameter, this Acute is a great segue for anal beginners gently delving deeper into the world of rectal play. The small base makes thrusting by hand a bit awkward, however it fits perfectly in a harness, and looks so nice there too! If you're a very small, tight lady or if you simply prefer smaller dildos, this is certainly a good recommendation for vaginal play as well. You'll never be stretched out, and your cervix will stay well out of harm's way. No painful tears or bruised cervices will ever be blamed on that Tantus Acute.
I personally have an affinity for white toys. This one, with it's gorgeous marbled smooth silicone surface, really struck me. I definitely appreciate the artistic element in this toy's design.
In a harness, the small base holds its own. It sits securely in place underneath the o-ring while the perfect bend-ability of the Acute does its work. Stiff enough to hold up to wild thrusting and soft enough to bend forwards or backwards to accommodate many positions, the silicone in the Acute holds up to its reputation.
It's great for a hot hummer while in a harness, or gentle warming and opening of the ass. The Acute proved to be another quality Tantus product, delivering all it promised.
Silicone is so easy to care for. Give it a rinse before use if you suspect a bit of dust collection. You won't find much, though, as the toy's not sticky.
For lube, you'll be fine with a water-based lube, but if you're wanting to try silicone, be wary! Rumor has it silicone lubes can melt silicone toys, though I've read of certain lubes that do work with toys of their own makeup. Do a small test on a discreet area before going ahead and using your all time favorite silicone lube with this toy.
Cleanup will go off without a hitch with soap and water. You may also throw this in the dishwasher, boil it, or wipe it down with alcohol to sterilize it. Make sure it's completely dry before storing.
Speaking of storing, the box it comes in will do. But if you're pressed for space or want more easy access, opt for a non-porous bag. Ziploc does the trick, though it ain't too pretty.
The small plastic box this comes in is clear and displays the toy nicely. There are no instructions, but the thing is pretty self-explanatory. Find a hole it fits in. Put it there. Wiggle it. Enjoy!
You may use the box for storage but as I said, it's a bit bulky and cumbersome. To access the toy you have to unfold flaps, slide out its compartment and separate the sides of its little toy bed. That can be time consuming when all you want to do is get down!
I really have nothing bad to say about this toy. It's hard to go wrong with a silicone dildo and with its great looks to boot, this is now my favorite pegging dildo. My boy and I will be using this for a long time; exploring his anal treasure cave and getting closer with each plunge!
