Oh, Adam!

If you're looking for a great realistic dildo that will hit your G-spot, Adam's your guy. It may be a bit too long and/or girthy for some. However, if you're up for the challenge, I think you'll find that Adam feels fantastic, and very real.

Use

Adam is a wonderfully realistic dildo, curved perfectly for reaching the G-spot. It has a flared base. It can be used anally to reach the P-spot, though it's quite girthy for that purpose. It is also harness-compatible.

Adam's a pretty hefty size, and may be the biggest dildo I've tried so far. However, it's not unreasonably large. Because its outer layer is squishy silicone, it's harder to injure yourself with this toy than it is with glass or steel, even while thrusting crazily.

Material / Texture

Adam is from Tantus's O2 line, meaning it's made of dual-density silicone; the inner core is a firm silicone with very little give, while the outer layer is softer and squishier. This gives it a feeling of realism. My boyfriend and I both agreed that Adam feels very similar to his own flesh-and-blood cock. Adam can be bent, but bounces right back up again when let go.

The head of the dildo is made of shinier silicone than the matte body. I think this is purely aesthetic; I don't feel any real difference between the two finishes.

Silicone eats lube, more than glass and steel do. I find I need to use more lube with this toy than I normally would. I always make sure to apply water-based lube (not silicone-based) liberally to the whole head and most of the shaft before inserting to make it easier and more comfortable to get this beast inside me.

Adam has a few veins on its shaft, providing a little bit of texture. These are soft and hardly noticeable in use - they are more for aesthetics. The main source of texture on Adam is the ridge where the head meets the shaft, as it would be on a real penis. This ridge slides across the G-spot with every thrust, and isn't terribly intense.

I find that this body-safe silicone doesn't have a smell or a taste, but it is very sticky to the touch, especially when I first got it. I've given Adam a couple of washes since then, and the stickiness has only gone away a little bit.

Silicone hangs onto heat pretty well - not as well as glass or steel, but decently. I followed Tantus's suggestion of letting Adam hang out in a sink-full of hot water for a few minutes, and the heat just added to Adam's very realistic feel.

Like all my Tantus toys, this one picks up lint, hair, and dirt like crazy, so a quick wash or wipe-off before use is recommended.

Design / Shape / Size

Adam is pretty large, at least by my standards - an inch and a half in diameter, and seven inches of usable length. I definitely need to warm up and lube up before I can use this toy. It's sometimes uncomfortable upon initial insertion, but that discomfort quickly turns to pleasure.

I chose Adam over all the other realistic O2 dildos because of its delicious curve. I wasn't sure if it'd be able to hit my G-spot, but it does so perfectly, to my delight. Thrusting in and out, particularly while pressing the dildo against my upper vaginal wall, feels amazing - every bit as good as non-realistic dildos that are specifically intended for G-spotting, like the Lelo Ella or Bent Graduate.

I like that Adam looks realistic, but not freakishly so. It doesn't unnerve me in the way that some disembodied cocks do. It looks like a penis, but it's also very clearly a toy.

Adam's probably not a great pick for someone who's new to penetration, or can't tolerate large penetrative objects. I don't consider myself a beginner to penetration at all, but I still occasionally have trouble taking Adam. If you can't fit more than two fingers or so inside of you, this might not be the best choice for you.

Performance

Adam hits my G-spot very well. That's its main, good quality. If you like G-spot stimulation via curve (rather than texture); Adam's definitely the best choice for you of all of the Tantus O2 dildos, which are mostly straight.

However, Adam doesn't have a whole lot of texture. It's only an average girth, so if you're a texture addict or a size queen, Tantus has various other dildos that would be more to your liking than Adam.

In use, Adam does exactly what I need and want a dildo to do: it stimulates my G-spot, bumps into my anterior fornix if I push it back far enough, is squishy enough to avoid hurting my cervix, and gives me that coveted feeling of fullness. Thrusting it while stimulating my clit feels great, and so does clenching my muscles around it without moving it. Sometimes I like to just sit around and do other things while Adam is inside me - it feels that good.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is very easy to take care of. You can boil it, bleach it, or let it take a ride in the top rack of your dishwasher. When you don't feel like sterilizing it, or just don't need to, you can wash it with soap and water, and that's just fine. There are no negative ramifications if you leave it dirty for a few days before washing it, making it very convenient for a lazy girl like me.

Because silicone collects a lot of lint, I keep my Adam wrapped in a plastic bag when not in use. I also do this to protect it from the other silicone dildos in my drawer. Different formulations of silicone can have adverse reactions when they rest against each other.

Also for that reason, Adam's not compatible with silicone-based lubes. I've used it with both water-based lube and unrefined coconut oil, and it's been fine with both.

Packaging

Tantus's packaging, while distinct and instantly recognizable, is not discreet at all. It displays Adam in its entirety and the typography identifies Adam as a 100% silicone adult toy.

I feel that the amount of packaging on this toy was unnecessary. Adam was turned diagonal in the box, so the box was wider and bulkier than the other kinds of Tantus packaging I've seen. It seemed wasteful to me.

Initially I stored my Adam in the plastic clamshell it came with, but that was just too bulky, so I switched to storing it in a simple plastic bag.

Personal comments

I've shied away from realistic dildos for a long time. I just never found them that attractive, and I also didn't think they'd feel as good as glass or steel. However, Tantus changed my mind. I'm very glad that Adam was my first realistic dildo because it's gorgeous, top-quality, and rubs my G-spot like a boss.
Follow-up commentary
Adam, I still love you, but you're too girthy for me. It takes me ages to warm up to a point where I can take you comfortably. There are other Tantus dildos that feel much less like an assault on my tiny vagina. I'm sorry, Adam - I wish we were a better fit, but we're just not! You'll have to be a "for special occasions only" item in my toybox.

Nice review - you just posted a question about trying to achieve a g-spot orgasm. Apparently Adam isn't doing it for you - I suggest adding a clit vibe and going blended!
