Perk - dildo discontinued by Happy Valley - review by On Bended Knee

The Perk dildo is certainly a happy boy! There are quite a few things I like about the Perk.

First, is the way it looks. I am not a fan of ultra-realistic dildos. It is just one of my personal aesthetic choices. The Perk has some nice features of a realistic including a ridge along the head before tapering into the shaft. The size is also rather realistic. It is not too large or too small, which adds to the comfort and fit of the dildo.

In addition to the aesthetics, I am rather picky about the materials of my toys. I have an allergy to latex, so that is my number one concern. However, I also like dildos that are easy to clean, that will not retain odors, and that has a soft or smooth texture. The Perk dildo once again lives up to all of these things. It is made of a silicone, which means clean up is as simple as warm water and a mild soap. It can be sterilized by boiling it for up three minutes as well. Silicone is also a non-porous material, so it won't take on a funky smell either. It also has a smooth texture that allows it to glide in easy, but it also provides a little bit of friction unlike pyrex glass toys or steel dildos. And, let's face it, friction can sometimes be a good thing.

There are two additional features that I like on the Perk. The base of the Perk is flared. This allows it to be used as one of those strap-on dildos, but it also means that it can be used safely for anal play without a strap. But, aside from that one of my favorite features is that it has a small vibrating bullet that can be inserted into the shaft. This makes for some very pleasurable sensations during penetration. The only down side is trying to get the bullet out before cleaning the dildo. I found that I was able to stretch the opening back a little and with a tiny (and I do mean TINY) drop of lube retrieve the bullet from the inside.

My first round with the Perk was alone (albeit my inspiration was coming from the phone in my other hand). The curve of the Perk strap-on dildo allows it to hit my g-spot well. It has a firm but giving structure and the vibrations add an extra sensation that pushed me over the edge to my first experience with squirting.

I give the Perk kudos for good aesthetics, texture, size and shape. It only loses for the somewhat noisy, yet powerful bullet.

<p>I still find the bullet to be a bit noisy, but it definitely serves its purpose. I also find that the flexibility of the material to be a plus. It is firm without being rigid like other luxury dildos made of glass or steel. I find that firmness ideal for double penetration. For me, a rigid toy vaginally while using another toy or cock in my ass hurts. </p><p>I still enjoy its easy clean up and smooth appearance. </p>
