Perk - dildo discontinued by Happy Valley - review by marshmallow

My girl and I had been saving up for awhile to order the Perk, as it suited our needs of a harness-compatible dildo. I am not huge on girth, but I do like length, and that is what the Perk provides. It has a nice, subtle curve and it's very soothing, not painful at all.

The Perk comes with a bullet that you can insert into the dildo. When we tried this, it was an extremely intense experience. I couldn't last very long and there's only one speed. I definitely prefer to use the Perk without the bullet, but it wasn't a bad experience, just more intense than I was expecting. However, the Perk is not waterproof when used with the bullet.

You can use this toy anally, but we have only used it vaginally. We both really enjoyed it - it's not too big, definitely great for beginners. The silver color is beautiful and looks very much like the picture!

The Perk is 100% silicone, but it's a very smooth feel and it doesn't drag easily. It's flexible but not too flexible, hard but not too hard. It's not textured at all, but does have a bit of a head. The base is pretty thick. You shouldn't use silicone based lubes with this product since it is made of silicone, but water based will do fine. I also reaaally liked how it didn't have an odor!

The Perk is curved with a slight bulbous head, nothing too large. However, I don't like realistic looking dildos and this aspect of the Perk was perfect for me. I would recommend this for beginners or people who are not huge fans of girth, like me. The insertable length is 6", meaning the Perk makes up in length what it lacks in girth. The curve at the top is slight, but still hits the G-spot well.

I purchased the silver Perk because of the gorgeous color, and it is really beautiful in person. It's not too feminine or masculine, which is what my partner and I like. It has a very handcrafted appearance and is not intimidating whatsoever.

The batteries are included in the package and have one very strong speed. It can, of course, be replaced by a multi-speed bullet.

The best thing about this toy is its harness compatibility. My partner and I haven't tried a harness that is comfortable for either of us yet, so we use neckties to create our own DIY harnesses. We wanted something that had length but also was compatible with the fabric. The silicone feel and length of the Perk really worked for us. The bullet is pretty loud, but my partner and I turned music on and it was drowned out.

It's a little difficult to remove the bullet from the Perk at times, but wiggling a small object around it such as tweezers should do the trick!
