The key to G-spot Stimulation

With its luxurious presentation, one year warranty, use of safe materials and G-spot seeking curve and bulbous head; the Comet has certainly rocketed to the top of my ‘G-spot Pleasers’ list.

extremely useful review
After noticing the emergence of a new range of products from Jopen called the Key range, I was drawn to one item from the range in particular; the Key Comet Wand. Made of both Silicone and glass, I was curious to see how the mix of these two safe materials would work.

Packaging:

The Comet arrives in bright and luxurious looking packaging. Having received the Raspberry pink option, the colour of the packaging matches it. The front of the packaging shows an image of the Comet with the added caption “Enjoy the Ride”. The back of the packaging shows a bullet point list of the toys features, mentioning that it is durable and includes a one year warranty.

When this outer sleeve is removed, the Comet sits inside black box with a flip open lid. Inside this box the Comet is well protected in a bed of soft, foam-like material and when this layer of foam is lifted it reveals a storage bag aswell as instruction and information leaflets.

The included storage bag which looks like satin is actually quite stiff and crinkly to the touch so it really doesn’t have a matching luxurious feel but it does include the Key logo and fits the toy perfectly.

First Impression:

Taking the Comet out of its packaging for the first time, the first thing I noticed was how solid it is. Before its arrival I had expected the handle of the toy to be glass but for some reason it hadn’t occurred to me that the glass might also run through the insertable length of the toy, it does.

In the hands, the Comet feels as weighty as you would expect a glass toy to feel. The glass handle which is a translucent pink (on the Raspberry Comet) feels incredibly smooth to run your fingers along. The handle is slim and easy to grip because of its bulbous end. The side of the handle features the quite shiny and luxurious looking Stainless alloy emblem with the brand name ‘Key’ engraved on it.

The silicone section of the toy is actually a silicone cover (non-removable) over a solid glass core. The shape of the Comets shaft appears perfectly curved to reach the G-spot and running along the shaft are a few raised ridges to help give the slimmer portion of the shaft some texture.

The head of the Comet is quite rounded and bulbous. It reminds of the Njoy Pure Wand with its ball-like shape though it doesn’t look as large or too hard to manage.

Measurements:

Total length: 8 Inches

Insertable Length: 5 Inches

Circumference of head: 5 Inches

Circumference of shaft: 3 ½ to 3 ¾ Inches

In Use/Experience:

With the natural drag that silicone has, the bulbous shape of the head and the unforgiving firmness of glass, lube is a must before getting started with the Comet. The rounded end of the Comet works well for clitoral rubbing before insertion and the handle makes it easy to lay back and enjoy it clitorally without having to strain reaching. The smooth and velvety soft finish of the silicone works well with water based lube and the initial insertion of the Comet feels quite intense with its bulbous, G-spot seeking head.

The firm build and generous curve guarantee you some level of G-spot stimulation almost instantly and for me it was quite intense and again I found it comparable to the Njoy Pure Wand. The handle makes it easy to angle the shaft perfectly to suit your body and the silicone creates a subtle but appreciated feeling of friction which toys like the Steel Pure Wand don’t offer.

The head of the Comet feels stretch and the light texture on the shaft can just about be felt. The thickness of the head and generous curve are what I really found stimulating from this.

With roughly five inches of insertable length available, the Comet offers enough length to reach the G-spot whether yours is shallow or deeper in. I only ever find myself using the first three and a half inches of mine as any further than that can start to feel uncomfortable. As someone who doesn’t enjoy colder toy materials I was glad to find that both the handle and silicone portion of the toy warm up quite quickly during use.

Experience

Overall:

For me the solid curve of the Comet is perfect for intense G-spot stimulation and for some it may make an ideal prostate stimulation too. If unforgiving builds are not for you than I would stay clear of this and its solid glass core but if solid builds and intense G-spot stimulation are for you then this really delivers just that.

Care:

As listed on the included care leaflet, the Comet should not be used with any silicone based lubricants. It should be cleaned after every use with particular care taken to clean around the area where the silicone portion of the toy meets the glass handle. The Comet should be cleaned using running water and hand soap and a water-based lubricant should always be used with it. For long term storage of the toy, the included storage bag is ideal for those who don’t have the space to hold into toy packaging.
