The Emigi is a vaginal exerciser that is intended for insertion into the vagina. Once inserted, you can go about your business, clenching your kegel muscles as you please. There is a removal 'string' that hangs down to make extraction easy. This is a toy that can be used and enjoyed alone but the benefits of using it can be enjoyed with a partner.
Please do not use the Emigi as an anal toy. It does not have a flared base and could get pulled inside resulting in an embarrassing trip to the emergency room.

The Emigi is made of WTP, which is a specially formulated Thermoplastic. It is completely non-porous, odorless, phthalate and latex free. The texture of the WTP is smooth with very little drag. There is no smell or taste to the Emigi. There is an added bonus to the material used for this vaginal exerciser, it has an anti-microbial layer that helps keep the toy clean.

The Emigi is shaped like a large peanut with each half being one of two colors. Mine is the purple Emigi, so one half of the 'peanut' is purple and the other half is white. The extraction string is also purple and made of the WTP. Inside the Emigi are two weighted balls that roll around to create movement and vibration during wear. The size of the Emigi will work for anyone, once you get it inserted, you only feel it when the vibrations are strong and sometimes when making certain movements. The extraction cord is kind of awkward feeling at first, but once you get moving it settles in and is not noticeable.

The Emigi is a really great exerciser that can be comfortably worn anywhere. While testing it for this review, I inserted the Emigi and went to the mall. I am a naturally fast walker and felt lots of movement from the balls inside the Emigi. I did feel some discomfort when I would go from standing to sitting or if I had to bend over for something. I think this is probably a personal anatomy issue, maybe a shallow vaginal canal? I just know that it felt like my body was trying to expel the Emigi if I changed position too quickly or without thinking about having the Emigi in. It by NO MEANS actually came out, it just felt a bit awkward for a few seconds. The amount of movement I felt from the balls inside was enough to kind of make me feel a little sea sick when used on an empty stomach, but I'm also prone to motion sickness.

The added bonus of exercising your kegels? This little peanut stimulates you while giving you a work out. By the time you are done with your work out, you will be ready for some more fun.

The best way to care for the Emigi is to clean it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap before and after each use. The WTP material should not be boiled and the anti-microbial properties will help ensure that your Emigi is clean and ready for use. I prefer to pat dry the Emigi after cleaning and then leave it out to finish drying.
