I love you, Emigi!

I already had enough vaginal exercisers before Emigi and wasn't really enthusiastic about buying it, but I'm so glad I did. Because of its size, easy-to-clean material, and awesome retrieval cord, I use Emigi exclusively as my vaginal exerciser--and it gets a lot of mileage in bed, too!

extremely useful review
Okay, so I've been around the block a few times with vaginal exercisers- To say I like them would be a huge understatement. I started with an older model of Fun Factory Smartballs years ago and my collection of these toys has grown ever since. Of the vaginal exercisers I own, though, I don't use the Smartballs anymore. Since I bought Emigi, I've found myself coming back to it time and time again.

Do you want to know the funny part? When I first bought Emigi, I wasn't all that interested in the toy. I bought it because I wanted the Sinfive Eve and wanted to bring my purchase total up to get free shipping. (Yes, I'm one of those people.) Emigi was the right price and I liked the colors, so I added it to my cart, completed my purchase, and went on my merry way. If only I had known how in love I would fall with this little, peanut-shaped toy, my attitude would have been different.

Before I go into why I love Emigi so much, let's get to know it a little better. Sinfive Emigi is a vaginal exerciser. To use it, you insert the toy vaginally and use your pubococcygeus (PC for short) muscle to contract around Emigi, moving it around inside your vagina. Through practice, you can strengthen your PC muscle. This has several effects, including reduced incontinence, easier childbirth, and better orgasms. Video Expert mentions another benefit of exercising this muscle, as well: With practice, you can contract and relax this muscle while a partner is inside you, giving the sensation of sex without actually thrusting. Of course, it does take quite a bit of practice to get to that ability level, but it's definitely worth it.

As an added feature, Emigi is hollow. Inside, there is a little ball that rolls around as you move. If I have Emigi inserted during everyday activity, I don't tend to notice the ball very much. One way to make really good use of the ball, though, is to place a vibrator against Emigi during masturbation. That way, not only does the outside shell of Emigi vibrate, but so does the ball inside. Needless to say, it feels pretty fantastic.

There is a flexible 4" tail at one end of Emigi whose main use is as a retrieval cord. Some women seem to be bothered by the length of the cord, but I've never minded it. If it does bother you, however, it shouldn't be a problem if you just cut it down with a pair of scissors. The retrieval cord is especially useful for beginners because it helps with easy removal of the toy. While masturbating, a fun way to use the cord is to give it gentle tugs. This way, you aren't just getting the "full" sensation from having Emigi inside you, but you're also stimulating your vaginal opening (where you have a huge concentration of nerve endings).

Emigi is made of WTP, a type of thermoplastic, which is odorless and nonporous (and really soft!). It also has an antimicrobial coating, making the toy itself pretty safe. Apparently, the coating makes it so you don't have to clean Emigi as often. While I'll admit that I've gone a while without cleaning between uses before, it's still probably best to clean before and after using Emigi to avoid a bacterial or fungal infection. Just wash the toy while you wash your hands, using soap and warm water.

Although Emigi is significantly smaller than Fun Factory Smartballs, the velvety texture of the WTP still has quite a bit of grip to it. If using Emigi as a vaginal exerciser without warming up first, I'd recommend using a small drop of lube. Emigi is safe with all lubes except oil-based lubes.

OK, now here's a little disclaimer for all of you fans of anal play: I wouldn't say Emigi is anal-safe. Sure, it has a retrieval cord. The cord has even lasted through months of me tugging on it while I hold it in place with my PC muscle. Even so, Emigi is not flared at all and the retrieval cord is a separate piece inserted in the Emigi body. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not chance it and have to explain why I have a multicolored plastic peanut traveling through my intestine at the ER.

Seriously, though, this is one of my favorite toys (up there with my Sinnflut Phantasy). It is really useful as a vaginal exerciser for beginners and advanced users alike, but it also doubles as a sex toy that is amazing for masturbation. I wasn't enthusiastic about Emigi when I first bought it, but SinFive Emigi is worth every penny.
