Fun first toy!

The LAYAspot is a nice strong clitoral vibrator. It can also be used to stimulate the vaginal opening, or the outside of the anus, but it isn't designed for penetration of any sort. It can be fun for use stimulating the nipples as well. It's quite strong, considering it runs on only 2 AAA batteries. I think it would be well suited as a first toy, but the vibrations are strong enough for us more experienced users.

This is great for solo play, but is small enough that it can be used for clitoral stimulation during intercourse as well. It is also waterproof, so feel free to take it in the bath, shower or even hot tub for some fun time!

The LAYAspot is made from elastomed, which is an 8 on EdenFantasys' safety scale. It is non-porous, odorless and phthalate free. It feels slightly soft, almost velvety, and has a bit more give to it than plastic. The cap for the battery compartment is made of plastic, as is the area on top where the buttons are, and a small area on the bottom of it. The material has no taste that I could detect. The texture of this is pretty simple, and appropriate for beginners or advanced users, and doesn't really add any extra stimulation.

There are some seams along the elastomed, along with a couple of circles on the sides. When using, I didn't feel them, but others who are more sensitive may notice them.

I personally love the shape of this toy. It's a very unique shape that I have never seen in a toy before. It has a smaller side, which is where the battery compartment is, and a larger side where the vibrations and buttons are located. It's perfectly shaped to fit with the contours of your hand for solo use. It hugs the curves of the female body just right. It's a great size for anyone who is interested in clitoral stimulators.

This toy is very easy to hide. It's small enough that it can fit into any space you may have around the house to hide it. It also doesn't scream adult toy, so most people looking at it would have no idea what it is. It would be easy to travel with, as it is so small and discreet.

The LAYAspot has multiple levels of vibration. There are two buttons on the top of it, with a plus and minus sign. To turn it on, hold down the plus sign until it lights up and vibrations begin. This will start it at the lowest vibration level, which is very low and reminded me almost of a motorcycle idling. To turn it up, simply hold the plus button, and it will go up to the highest level, which is quite strong. To turn it back down, hold the minus button and the vibrations will decrease. Once it's back on the lowest setting, simply touch the minus button one more time to turn it off. The controls are in a very convenient location, but they're a bit difficult to push, meaning it's a bit hard to change the level of vibration without removing it from the clitoris. It works wonderfully in the water, so feel free to play in the bath or shower. It's fairly quiet as well. I would say that it can't be heard through a closed door, but can be heard through a blanket.

The elastomed is very easy to take care of. It can be washed in warm water with antibacterial soap, or you can wipe it with your favorite cleaning wipes. It cannot be boiled, or completely sterilized, but since it is non-porous, that's not a huge deal. I store it with my other toys in a cabinet, but it could easily be stored almost anywhere. Thankfully, there are no material compatibility issues with the elastomed. It can be used with either silicone or water based lubricants, although I personally prefer water-based.
