The Layaspot is a rather small clitoral vibrator that can fit into the palm of your hand.
The material feels rather pleasant on the skin. It is also skin safe and easy to clean. The only thing that you have to keep an eye on is the space around the opening of the batteries hatch. It could get dirty quickly, make sure you carefully clean that without water.

Experience
I have had the Layaspot for quite a while now and it does seem to have gotten louder. The internal mechanics do still work and keep going. It seems to have a little more trouble with the noise of the vibrations but the vibrations are still as strong as before.

I really like the shape of this, how it looks as if it would just mold perfectly to the crotch! However, you mentioned this was not waterproof and it runs on AA's? Goodness! For the price, I'd expect a bit more like waterproof and rechargeable.
You described the material as "somewhat soft". One problem I have with this type of clitoral vibe is that I NEED it to be somewhat soft and squishy, like silicone. Hard and rigid only prevents me from applying pressure because it digs into my bones and hurts. What's the material? Is it hard plastic? It looks like hard plastic with possibly a PU coat.
Also, sorry to have so many questions, but I'm super interested in this little guy. You said the vibrations are so strong. Now I might can look over the not waterproof and slightly hard material and batteries if this has such good vibrations. Are they high pitched and buzzy? I rechecked it and it runs on AAA batteries actually (changed it right away), it is not waterproof as in submerging it but it can withstand showering with it.
The material is plastic on the inside and Elastomed on the outside. It is somewhat squishy but still rigid. With me it doesn't hurt but if you use it a lot in a day it could get sensitive if you apply a lot of pressure. Also because of the shape, it does fit nicely and comfortably.
The sound isn't high pitched, it is more like a low hum, like a lawn mower from the distance or the hum from a massage chair. On the highest setting it can't be heard through a door.
The vibrations are rather strong at the highest setting and the sensation is hard to explain but it can be a bit numbing at times. That is why I recommend not to try the highest setting without anything in between. For me this was the first toy I was able to orgasm with and even for the price, you would get a lot of pleasure and fun out of it. I've had it for at least 3/4 years now and it hasn't let me down.
The first is with a long pause, the second quicker together with less pause and the third is quick with less then a second pause. The packaging with me wasn't suitable for storage but because of the small size it is easy to store.
