The We-Vibe 3 is essentially everything a couples vibrator shoud be: big enough to notice without getting in the way, and the dual motors make sure that both partners can take advantage of its power. Meant as a clitoral/g-spot vibe, its flexibility also enables it to be used in a variety of other ways, both for its intended use as a couples toy or for solo play.

As a vibe that both partners can use, following the directions to a T should provide maximum stimulation for both parties. (The g-spot vibes were a little weak for my own personal tastes, but my husband said it made every stroke count for ten. And that's saying something!). When used for solo play, I found that I could get stronger stimulation by going off the beaten path, (inserting both arms at once, rotating it so that the "C" arm sits over the opening to my anus, etc.). Alhough I imagine it could be used along with other toys, I haven't tried it myself.

The We-Vibe 3 is made from durable silicone. This makes it safe to use for pretty much everyone, as well as completely odorless. The inner side of both arms offer a good amount of ribbing, which is more pronounced on the smaller "G" arm, (the slighter ribs on the "C" arm aren't too noticeable if the unit is kept firmly in place, but with a regular thrust it should be enough for sufficient clitoral rubbing).

Word of caution: The silicone on the We-Vibe 3 can become very slippery with lube and even regular bodily fluids, making it a bit of a pain to handle or operate manually. Luckily, this is mostly controlled by using the remote, though the wetness can still make it difficult to keep in one spot. This also makes taking advantage of it's waterproof capabilities a little trying, since it easily falls out while standing in the shower (bath use, on the other hand, was much easier).

The look of the We-Vibe was very appealing to me. It's got a classy shape that doesn't scream "Look at me! I go in your vagina!", but its curves are still sexy. The flexible connector arm isn't so flimsy as to make you paranoid about it breaking under the slightest amount of stress, though I wish it were just a little firmer for the extra amount of pressure I enjoy.

Out of the box, the size might be a little intimidating for beginners (at first glance my husband was worried about trying to fit in next to it), but once in place, you realize it's not all that cumbersome, especially if you happen to like some extra girth down there. The folded size also comes in handy if you need to be discreet when it comes to clean-up. I can easily fit it into the pocket of my nightshorts on the way to the bathroom to wash it off.

The We-Vibe 3's included charging base makes for a great storage option, since you really can't over-charge it. (Though if you are planning on not using it for a considerable amount of time, I'd recommend unplugging it; you can never be too careful.) It's also discreet enough to leave it on a nightstand, so it's ready to go when you are.

There is one button on the unit itself, located at the tip of the outer "C" arm. It can be controlled manually, but again, lubes and fluids can make this difficult. Also, depending on your anatomy (or the amount of hair you have down there), reaching for and trying to press the switch while use may not be so easy. The button itself doesn't offer an insane amount of resistance, but if you're the type who have a hard time keeping unit in place as it is, two hands may be needed.

The We-Vibe's remote seemed like a fanastic idea when I first saw it, but in use it's been hit or miss. My husband seems to have no issues with it, which since he uses it 90% of the time is really no big deal, but I just can't seem to get it to work (again, no huge deal, since the vast majority of the time I put turn it to my favorite setting and leave it). There's not a very big range on the remote either, so if you're looking at it's potential for public use, take heed.

The We-Vibe offers a great variety in terms of vibration patterns. There is a constant vibration at both a low and high speed, as well as a rollarcoaster/wave pattern (my favorite!), pulse, tease, and one the manufacturer refers to as "cha-cha". The vibes themselves are good and rumbly, easily felt all over.

Being a silicone vibe makes cleaning easy. I myself prefer to use antibacterial soap and warm water, but you could also use a toy cleaner or bleach/water mixture. Even though the product is totally enclosed with no open seams, boiling or running it through the dishwater isn't recommended because of the motors. Due to this being made of the more slick silicone, I'd also recommend air-drying, or using the type of cleaning cloth often recommended for electronics and glasses, as the product tends to attract it's fair share of lint otherwise. Also, be sure to use a water-based lube, as one with a silicone-base can cause damage.

All in all, the We-Vibe 3 makes for a good couples vibe. It does what it claims: stimulate both parties during intercourse, (though in my case, it's not necessarily to completion). True, it could've been much stronger for my tastes, but I think a person of average sensitivity will absolutely love it. While I would normally rate this at three stars, seeing my husband's reaction to it earns it a four.
