Luna pleasure bead system - exerciser for vaginal muscles by LELO - review by grandtiger

My partner purchased these beads without either of us knowing much about vaginal/pelvic floor exercises. The most experience I had had was the occasional Kegel exercise. This system was definitely a great introduction, and although this system has made me more conscious of how vaginal muscles work, as well as how they can be strengthened, I can't speak much about how these directly effect the vaginal muscles as I use them mainly for pleasure.

I use these beads most often during sex with my partner. They add a great dimension to the experience and I always enjoy using them. My three favorite ways to utilize them during sex are to wear them during:
1) Receiving oral sex. As I grind and move I can feel the weighted balls moving against the walls of my vagina. That feels great, especially when my clitoris is being stimulated. My partner can also insert a couple fingers to help move the balls or to tug on the string to move the balls even more.
2) Receiving anal sex. Thrusting during anal sex really moves the weights around and gives me a sense of feeling full without using a large toy in my vagina. [Just to be clear, these are not to be used in the anus because it would be highly unsafe as they don't have anything to stop them from getting stuck]
3) Receiving a light spanking. When receiving a spanking during foreplay, I love to wear these. They heighten my arousal and add a little more pleasure to the pain. Also, they make it a little more difficult not to squirm/flinch, which can be fun depending on the arrangements of the spanker and spankee. For a more advanced/prolonged spanking/flogging I feel like they could end up being irritating, that's why I prefer to use them for less intense hand spankings before/during sex.

Really what I'm getting at here is that a lot of activity can be made more pleasurable by these little weighted balls. They add a sensation that's different than your average thrusting/vibrating. Also, the reason I mentioned above that they could be "fun" to take out, is that after having an orgasm, when the muscles are extra sensitive, it can feel really fantastic to pull the string and have each ball slowly pop out, similar to anal beads.

Although I do not use them for vaginal exercises, I did try wearing the lighter beads for a couple hours just to see how they felt walking around, doing regular tasks, etc. I didn't experience any discomfort, but they did't go unnoticed. Most of the time, I just felt the slight weight of the balls, but when I'd bend over or sit down was when I could feel the weights rolling around. The movement wasn't particularly arousing or irritating as it didn't happen often, but I could see how using them over a longer period of time might be.

On top of their phenomenal performance, they are made of nonporous plastic and the sling or "girdle" is made of silicone. LELO is known for their luxury products made of high quality materials and this pleasure bead system is no exception. No parts of this product have any sort of odd smell or taste. They are extremely easy to care for and clean, just some soap and water will do. While not necessary for everyday cleaning, you can boil the girdle (but not the beads, so remove them first).

This product comes in a discreet black box that can double as storage. The only identifying quality is the LELO logo in small black print on the top of the box. The product also comes with a travel pouch.

As for the design, I adore the little girdle that hold the balls and it's attached string. It makes insertion and removal so easy! You can pop the beads out of the girdle without a problem but once popped in, they fit snuggly so there's no worry that they'll fall out. The girdle is completely smooth while the balls have a seam that runs around the center of them, but it doesn't add any noticeable texture. Other reviews say that these could be a little large for some. For me, I found them to be a perfect size: they slide in nicely and didn't feel uncomfortable or cumbersome when wearing them about. To give some context though, I am accustomed to larger toys with more girth and I have never had children.

Overall, I'm in love. They're not something I use for vaginal exercises, but if I were to get into it, I would certainly use these beads! They add a fantastic and new sensation to sex, which is why I speak so highly of them and they're a long-lasting, quality product.
