While most masturbation sleeves are made from TPR, the Fleshlight insert uses a top secret, special formula. The outside is a hard plastic that has bumps on it so it won't slip out of your hand. The Flight functions and performance are unreal. The material that is used to make the sleeve feels as close to human skin as you could get. I was worried about the cleaning of the Flight. When you first look at it, you ask yourself "where is my cum going to go?" One of the best parts about the Fleshlight is that it all comes apart. Once you are done using Flight, simply unscrew the cap, pull out the sleeve, and wash them. The sleeve can be flipped inside out if you are having issues cleaning it. I let it air dry and then put it back together. Some people say to sprinkle some corn starch on the sleeve to keep it smooth but I haven't found that I need to.
