I bought the Fleshlight Flight as a Valentine's Day gift for my partner. He had never used a masturbator or sleeve before, but we soon found out how much it could enhance his solo and couples sexual experiences.

The Flight is a smaller version of the standard Fleshlight toys and much more discreet since it does not look like the original line of Fleshlights. The outer casing is black and quite decorative. While people might be curious about the toy if you left it on your table, they probably couldn't be able to identify it unless they own a Flight themselves; the sleeve looks less vaginal, maybe? Other reviewers have commented that the sleeve resembles a clear and silvery vortex, and that's about right. For us, that wasn't a bad thing. As someone who had never owned a masturbator before, my partner was a little hesitant about using a toy that looked like a vagina in a tube. So, the Flight is a great choice for gift-givers or users hesitant about a toy that looks too anatomically correct.

Like the complete line of Fleshlights, the Flight has a uniquely patterned and textured inner sleeve to stimulate the head and shaft of the penis. I hear from my partner that the "nubs" are the real star of the show. My partner is of average length and girth, so he has no problems with the size of the toy. I hear from some other reviewers that this sleeve is a little tight on them, but you can tighten or loosen the cap at the back end of the toy to adjust the grip.

The Flight's exterior is a textured, black plastic; you can see its dimpled pattern in the stock pictures on the product page. I don't know if the texture makes it any easier to hold, but it sure looks nice — we like it.

The interior sleeve of the Flight is made out of the signature Fleshlight Superskin, it feels incredibly lifelike. My partner loves thrusting into the sleeve all the way because the pillowy Superskin entrance bounces pleasurably against his balls and the base of his shaft. As I wrote in the "Use" and "Experience" sections, my partner loves the internal nubs! After we used the Flight for the first time, my partner, in a post-coital glow, said, "It's like everything is touching my penis ... and nothing is touching my penis ... but everything is touching my penis!" After some cooldown, my partner reflected that his penis felt surrounded in a way that manual masturbation could not. The fact is, the water-based lube and the Flight's nubs made everything move so smoothly that it was like nothing was touching him at all.

The problem with the Superskin is the same as its virtue. It is so unique that there's very little information about how body safe it is. We haven't had any problems that would make the toy seem unhealthy to us, so we're not worried though I'm normally a stickler for that stuff.

The design looks very sleek, so from an aesthetic perspective, it's awesome. The outside looks pretty elegant, which makes it easier to hide in plain sight than you'd think. The non-vaginal and vortex-like interior (covered by a cap when not in use) is great for anyone who would feel "squicked" by something that looks too anatomically correct or just wants something a little different. Its smaller size is easy for the user or a partner to maneuver comfortably for a longer amount of time. We haven't tried to travel with the Flight, but it looks like it would be easy to throw into an overnight bag (its size is way smaller than a standard gym bag).

This toy has a flat front and a slanted base, so it can only stand on its front. The only complaint my partner had (I can see his point) was that he couldn't keep the Flight upright on its base once he lubed it up. In the future, I'd probably buy a suction cup and add it to the back cap of the Flight so that we can just attach the toy on the shower wall or the side of a tub. That won't help fastening it to the nightstand, but you can't win them all.

Some people found this toy slightly noisy, but it's only a typical "fapping" sound. You probably wouldn't want to use the Flight everywhere, just in case someone might hear your possibly noisier masturbation session (unless that's your thing). Personally, I wouldn't worry too much.

Some have mentioned powdering the Superskin to keep it smooth. We haven't had to do that yet after over a month of use, and just keep it clean with soap/cleaner and hot water. You should make sure that you get the interior extremely clean so that it doesn't get nasty in there. We realized that the Flight's sleeve could be turned inside out to clean; I wouldn't do that too often because I don't know if that could easily tear the material. Make sure you clean the plastic casing, too, just in case.

Protip: If you soak the sleeve in warm water before play, it will feel very pleasurable because it simulates body temperature.

The packaging was a cardboard box with a window; it was just large enough to hold the toy. It had pictures of the toy on its sides (so not discreet). What's cool is that one of the pictures is of the toy's interior, showing the nubs inside the tunnel. This neat feature made us even more eager to try the toy out.

There were sufficient instructions on the inside, but there wasn't a whole lot on how to use the tightening cap on the back end. I think that is more of an "unofficial" feature, but it's nice nevertheless.

We've used the Flight in the bedroom, in the shower, standing up, lying down, and in positions that are too hard to describe. It's just a fun toy to use as a receiver or a giver. Both of us have a hard time saying no to the Flight. The squishiness and nubs upon impact are features that are enjoyable and fun to him, and the reaction I get out of my partner using the Flight makes it an incredible toy for me as well.

On a personal note, I have physical issues that (while I consider myself to be an exceedingly sexy and sexual person) make penetrative vaginal sex difficult or impossible for me. This toy is a great way to bring creativity, curiosity, and variety into our bedroom. My partner has his own reasons to love this toy, but if any women readers have similar medical issues, this toy could be a great way to revitalize your sex life, too!
