Ethical Slut - book discontinued by Celestial Arts - review by RosesThorns

I firstly want to thank the Authors of this book (Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy) for writing it and for releasing a 2nd edition. It is a wonderful book. I also don't think it is just for those who are interested in Polyamory or Open relationships. The info on dealing with Jealousy and dealing with conflicts would be useful to anyone in a relationship or looking to be in a relationship.

The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships & Other Adventures is a gem. It is in its 2nd edition which has been updated and expanded from the first edition which was released in 1997. The Second edition was released in 2009. I really do feel that this book is a wonderful resource for anyone. If you have ever had the desire to explore your "slutty" side, wanted to open a relationship, or needed to know how to deal with jealousy and conflict. Pick up this book.

Conclusion A Slut Utopia

I started to read this book after my last relationship dissolved, and the reason it dissolved was partly due to my wanting to open the relationship to the possibility of more partners and more love and sex. I picked it up finally and started to read it one night at work and could not put it down. Part of me wishes I had read it while I was still in said relationship and I am hoping my ex (And good friend) takes my advice and reads this book. It was easy to read and very helpful in helping me understand that it's ok to want the things that I want.

There is NOTHING wrong with wanting abundance in your life.

Still an awesome book; I have lent it to many people and recommended it to many more. I think it is a great resource for people looking to explore non-monogamy.
