A little waxy, but damn it's exquisite.

I got eos lip balm on a whim because I've always thought that the spheres were cute, but that the sticks would probably travel better. I'm really disappointed that the formula isn't better because I really do enjoy the packaging, this formula is waxy and doesn't make me feel like my lips are actually being moisturized.
Not vegan, waxy feeling, doesn't glide on as easy as other brands.

I've really been enjoying Eden having more beauty and body products. I've also always thought that EOS has really cute products and I've been wanting to try some for a while. That being said, I wasn't really impressed with their formula for lip balm. I got the lemon sphere as well as this product and they felt much more waxy to me than other products I have and love (mainly Fresh Sugar Lip treatment and Not Soap Radio Cocoa Nostra Confections.) EOS lip balm stick is UDSA Organic, but is not vegan because it contains beeswax.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Beeswax (Cire D'abeille)*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Natural Flavor, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract*, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract*.

scent and taste
This lip balm smells lightly like vanilla, but it doesn't taste like much of anything. I was really surprised that it didn't smell more strong because I also got the eos shave creme in vanilla bliss which smells amazing: vanilla top notes, spice bottom notes, it's an awesome, unique smell. But I was disappointed that the balm wasn't a similar scent.

I got both the sphere and the stick to me the stick feels more waxy than the sphere. But, both are waxy compared to other lip balms I have used. It really doesn't feel like it's moisturizing my lips because the formula is so waxy, I sometimes feel like my lips are going to stick to each other, it's that bad.

Overall I'm giving this lip balm a 3/5 -- I probably won't buy it or use it much because the formula isn't the best and I have much better options to choose from. It's also expensive for what you get, crappy formula for 8$, if I was going to buy it again it would be from a local store since they sell them for 3-4$ as opposed to 8$ at Eden. I may keep using the Lemon Drop because it does have the SPF boost.

We've found the sphere rolls on better when it's a little warm. Haven't gotten the stick one yet, but we'll be trying it soon. Thanks for the review.
