It just gets better and better...

This product is perfect for any human (kids included) who wants to have soft, supple, and kissable lips. My lips dry out quickly and often due to working in an office environment with a/c or heaters going ALL the time. Add to that, I have some health issues that cause delicate skin and a propensity for irritations and allergies and my choices for products narrows down quickly.. right down to those medicine-esque smelling tubes of paraffin that rip the top two layers of skin as you apply them. Thanks to EOS, the clouds have parted and angels are singing on high, because there is now EOS Organic Lip Balm.

Somehow, EOS has found the perfect formulation for lip balm that is not oily or greasy, YET it is smooth and creamy. It goes on effortlessly (not like those thick waxy old school tubes of lip balm).

This lip balm is not at all sticky. If I run my fingers over the surface of my lips where I've applied it, about half will come off onto my finger. (This is why you need to be kissing your girlfriends when they are wearing this, gentlemen. Then you too, will have soft and kissable lips.)

When wearing the balm, the aroma is negligible and simply the hint of something "berry-esque". It is not specifically any definable berry. When you open the lid and smell the balm directly, it too smells of light berries, and that is all. No lingering chemical smells like other balms.

The taste of the berries is perfect, tantalizing, and refreshing. Not at all over powering or childish like some fruit "flavored" lip balms can be.

I can taste and very slightly smell the flavor the entire time I notice that balm it on my lips. Part of the way I can tell that I want to reapply (I don't need to, because the balm has left my lips soft and smooth), is that I can't taste or smell this product anymore, and the taste and smell are so enticing that I want to keep it applied to my lips all the time.

This product is colorless, so there is no need to remove it. It wears without the need to reapply for approximately 30 minutes; however, it does taste and smell so good, as well as the packaging is so nice to hold and open that I tend to apply it sooner than that, but it is from sheer sensual enjoyment.

I have absolutely no complaints about this product. As a matter of fact, I've been searching for a product that performed like this does for years.

This balm is easily removed and left my lips hydrated after use, not dry like some of the other balms that I've alluded to in previous sections of my review.

I think that because of its light and not overpowering smell and taste that men would enjoy using it to avoid chapped lips just as much as women do, even if they kiss you to apply it.

The external plastic tube is 2.75 inches tall, and just under 3 inches around. The actual amount of balm is 7/8th of an inch high and 5/8th of an inch wide. Volume per the website is .14 fluid ounce, and weight is .8 ounce.

The tube for this balm is lipstick tube sized, rather than chap stick tube sized. The tubes are colored to correspond with the flavors of lip balm, in my case, burgundy pink to be berry/pomegranate flavored.

There is "eos" engraved on the bottom of the tube and on the side, with a slightly ergonomic thumb sized divot carved out of the top of the tube at an angle.

The tube itself is designed like a basic, hard plastic lipstick tube that you turn to make the stick rise up to dispense more balm. The plastic is velvety smooth and has a slightly matte finish to it. It is very pleasantly designed in a modern/mid-century chic sort of way. Simple, sleek, and straight forward.

For me, being so sensitive to chemicals AND textures, this product shines for its usability and comfort. Many times, lip balms are too stiff or waxy, or they are overpowering in their taste or scent. EOS has found the perfect balance of ingredients to create a lip balm that functions to make your lips supple and is comfortable to wear and pleasant to experience.

After getting the EOS organic lip balm in all my preferred flavors, I branched out to the EOS Organic Lip Balm Smooth Stick and I'm glad I did. I love this stuff and it, too, gets a rock solid 5 star rating from me.

I have put one at every place I spend time (by the bed, desk at work, desk at home, and handbag). Having many sensitivities to both chemicals and textures, this is hands down THE best lip balm I've ever used. The only (non)downside is that it's such a wonderful flavor that I use it gratuitously.

This would make a perfect stocking stuffer or office holiday present.

At the moment I'm not seeing anyone, but I will be out doing the first date thing again soon. I will be wearing this in hopes of that magical first kiss.
