The cap will fall shut easily if you move the bottle the wrong way. However, I quickly learned that it's perfect for opening one-handed and dispensing upside-down, which turned out to be very convenient. As a gel rather than a slippery liquid, it stays put on the toy until you spread it around. You don't waste a drop and there's no mess involved.

I've used this to clean both jelly and plastic vibrators, as well as a jelly masturbation sleeve, and was satisfied with all of the results. It lathers well but not excessively and washes off easily without being just rinsed away before you're done. However, I will say that if your toy has grooves or ridges in it, make sure the little beads have not become lodged inside those gaps; it happens, and while it's not hard to correct with a simple swish under the faucet, it's worth an inspection.

I have very sensitive skin and have had no issues with this cleaner to date. It does have a scent, but I would describe it as being very mild and fresh, and I haven't noticed it lingering on my toys; I'm not a fan of strong scents and this one is pleasantly unobtrusive. With all the practical concerns taken care of, it does happen to look very classy sitting next to my sink.
