I honestly didn't know toy cleaner existed until fairly recently, when I really began to delve into the different types of toys out there. Until then, I'd been using hyopallergenic soap and water; a fine combination for cleaning my vibrators, yes, but I didn't like how it made the jelly material feel afterwards. And so, I did a little research, and found that cleaners exist specifically for sex toys. I was ecstatic! A cleaner that would rid my precious vibes of all the sexual fluids without degrading the material? Count me in!

I stumbled across Climax bursts toy cleaner on a different site. It had excellent reviews and was within my purchase, so I decided to give it a go. Packaged in a discreet, light blue bag there was no indication that I'd bought a sex toy cleaner. This was a plus for me, as I need discretion in all my toys and toy-related items.

The bottle is four fluid ounces (4 fl.oz.), and weighs about four ounces. The bottle is clear, apart from the logo label and design, showing the liquid inside. The cleaner itself is clear, but it contains little green and yellow beads. They're pretty cute; they look like they're suspended in the bottle. The cap is a neat looking bubble-shaped pop-top, though you need to completely unscrew it and remove the protective seal underneath before using it for the first time. All in all, I enjoyed the presentation. It was nice to see a product that deviates from the boring norm.

The ingredients are as follows: water, Triclosan 0.30% w/w, Acrylates copolymer, Ascrobyl palmitate, Cellulose, Chromium hydroxide green, Cocamidopropyl Bectaine, Coco-glucoside, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glyceryl oleate, Hydroxpropyl methylcellulose, Iron oxides, Mannitol, Methylchloroi. It also has a moisturizing feature to protect and soften skin. Personally, that's not an issue for me down below, but it is a nice touch to the product.

The cleaner itself has a thick, stick consistency. Originally, I was put off by it. However, upon using it to clean my Pink Double G, this quickly no longer mattered to me as it lathered up quickly and copiously under warm water. It has a pleasant, light citrus-y scent, and left my toy super shiny and squeaky-clean. It leaves its light scent behind, but this didn't bother me as I don't put my toys in my mouth. Those who do may be a little-off put by the scent.

Climax bursts toy cleaner is not specifically stated to be hypoallergenic. Therefore, it is a possibility that some may have an adverse reaction to one or more of the ingredients. I have super sensitive skin, and I didn't have an allergic reaction to it. However, I recommend doing a patch test on the arm before using it on your toys, just to be sure.

Not a whole lot is needed to clean your toys. I used a bit too much the first time I used it, since it was my first time ever using toy cleaner and I had no idea how much to use. So, I used a quarter-sized dollop, figuring it would be enough. Well, it was MORE than enough. Half my bathroom sink filled up with bubbles! I was pretty flabbergasted. The next time I used it, I decreased the amount by half, and it was still a bit too much. So, you really only need a tiny drop to clean one toy. This pleases me greatly; it means that it will last me a long time and I will be able to save more money that way.

All in all, a really great toy cleaner that will leave all your pleasure objects as shiny as a new penny without breaking the bank. A must have with any toy collection!

I will admit, I bought this on Amazon (sorry, EF...) because I was too impatient for it to come back in stock on the site. It got really good reviews on both EF and Amazon, so I was really excited to give it a try. I was no disappointed! I spent a good minute both admiring and puzzling over the bottle. I didn't realize at first that it was a pop-top. I spent five minutes trying to pull it off, before I went online and re-read the product description. Needless to say, I was pretty embarrassed for myself!

I used it the night I got it after a lovely session with my recently-purchased Pink Double G. I popped the top and squeezed a little amount over the shaft of the dildo. I wasn't expecting it to be so thick. I smeared the cleaner all over the toy, taking care to get into the ribs and crevices, all the while a bit put-off by the stickiness. Then, it came time to rinse it off under some warm water. The WHOLE sink looked like a friggin' bubble bath! I actually laughed out loud at that. My toy was left super shiny and clean-smelling. I held it up to the bathroom light to make sure there was no residue on it. None whatsoever. It was shinier than it was when it arrived on my doorstep! Definitely a win-win product!

This stuff really does last a long time. I've had it for over three months and I haven't even used half the bottle yet. Very, very pleased that this will last me such a long time! This poor college student gives it two thumbs up!
