Coochy after shave powder - aftershave discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by etista

I picked this up after having tried the Coochy Protection After Shave Spray, also by Classic Erotica. I found it to be far superior to most after shave products on the market, though not as easy to use as the spray.

This product is formulated to protect the skin from the irritation caused by shaving, particularly the genital area. It works wonders on the bikini line, though I've found it a bit too inconvenient to use elsewhere. This is a shame, because the small blue container could easily pass for a hair product or something in a similar vein, which makes it incredibly discreet for both men and women.

The powder comes packaged in a somewhat standard powder dispenser - a plastic container with small square holes in the top of the inner lid, with a powder puff. It's easy to get powder out of the container by simply removing the powder puff, screwing the lid back on and inverting it. Applying it can be a little bit messy, which is where it loses points against the spray. It also does leave behind a powder residue as well, which makes it a bit inconvenient for use not long before sex.

I didn't keep using it regularly for long, but when I did, it provided good protection from irritation and kept things smooth and fresh. I have sensitive skin and had no issues with any of the ingredients, though it does not have the best smell. It is a little reminiscent of old lady, though it's not strong enough to be noticed through one's clothes.

Since the spray is currently sold out, I would recommend giving this a go if you're in need of something to help keep the irritation at bay. It washes off easily with soap and water, so if there are any issues with it on your skin or you'd like to rinse it off before intercourse, it's very easily done.
