Body Dew Done Right!

The body dew oil is great for moisturizing, making your faded tattoos pop and can be a great way to clear up bumpy, rashy exema or other skin conditions. Works great for cradle cap and makes a great gift for any occasion to any family member or friend!

extremely useful review
I cannot say enough good things about the Body Dew Silky Body Oil. I have had the original scent for years. I love this stuff for so many reason. The Body Dew oil is so versatile and continues to be a favorite in my "stash". I will keep coming back for this oil time and time again. I would feel very comfortable giving this item to a friend or family member. This would be a great gift for any occasion. Baby Showers, Bridal Showers and Birthdays would be all great times to gift this to someone!

The Body Dew Silky Body Oil comes in an 8 fluid ounce bottle. (The one that I have, came in a different style bottle than it is now offered in though.) Ingredients include: Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Copuline-alike, Copulandrone, Reconstitued Andronone, Retinyl Palmitata (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), BHT, Fragrance (Parfum)

The Body Dew Silky Body Oil is great for a general moisturizer. This oil absorbs very nicely into the skin. If you apply too much, it can become slightly oily or greasy. A very little of this oil is needed to reach the desired effect. I used to demo this product at my in home parties when I worked for another company, selling these types of items. We LOVED when there was someone at the party that had a tattoo. This oil is PERFECT for giving your old, faded tattoo a sparkle! Simply spray one spritz onto the tattoo and run in until absorbed. This will bring out the colors and really make them pop! It is also great for black or regular ink tattoos that have faded. It will deepen the color of the ink giving it a real shine.

I, personally, use this oil after a bath or shower. Because of the heat, your pores are opened up more so after a shower or bath. When you pat yourself dry, simply spray this oil onto your body and rub in. It leaves your skin feeling silky soft and absorbs great! Remember to use a little at first, add more if needed. The skin can only absorb so much before it reaches its limits. At this point, the oil will collect on top of the skin, creating a greasy feeling.

Because it is an oil, I recommend that you make sure that it is absorbed well, before adding any clothing or laying on any blankets or sheets. It will stain if its not rubbed in all the way. It doesn't take very long at all though, to dry and absorb. So the wait shouldn't be more than a few moments. Make sure that you leave it standing up in a vertical position, so it doesn't leak. I have had issues with mine laying down and creating a small pool underneath it, ruining the wooden drawer that it was in.

This is also a great massaging oil. Though, it does absorb quickly, it won't be one of those long lasting massaging oils. Its nice though to just rub in and make for a quickie back rub.

I highly recommend this oil for anyone with skin rashes, bumps or other skin irritations or afflictions. It clears up exema quite well too(from my personal experience anyways). I would avoid using this on the face. Because its an oil, it may tend to clog your pores on your face and create acne issues. I have also used this on my daughters cradle cap (the dandruff issues babies often have).

The Body Dew Silky Body Oil does have a wonderfully light scent to it. I have the original and its a refreshing, light scent. I have yet to try any of the others, but I am definitely interested in those too!

Other scents that are offered are: Make Me Blush (a sweet and soft scent) and Citrus.
Follow-up commentary
Another great feature that I failed to mention before, in my original review was that this oil works wonderfully as a bath oil! I had mentioned about an after shower spritzer, but it works great if you love to take baths too! Although, I would not use it often for this because it was take entirely too much of the bottle to use it in this manner. I took the cap off and just dumped some of the oil into the bathtub. I didn't use more than four or five tablespoons maybe? Another use for this (and I tried this today) I put some of this in with one of my lotions that is unscented. If you LOVE the affects of a certain lotion but want the scent of the body dew, simply add a spray or two of this into your hand while rubbing it into your lotions. I have to use certain lotions for my feet and legs, and its unscented, so this gives it a little boost and a lovely scent! Because it does have such a light fragrance to it, it could even possibly be added in with some scented lotions too. Mix and Match!
