Venus body butter - body moisturizer discontinued by Venus - review by Derekkk

I learned about this body butter from my best friend, and I’m glad I listened to her. I fell in love with this from the moment I took the lid off, from the strong tropical scent to how soft this made my skin feel. I was torn between trying this in the Mandarin Mango or the Pineapple Tangerine. I ordered the Mandarin Mango scent, and I couldn't be happier, especially since it ran out of stock not long after.

The Venus Body Butter comes in an 8 ounce, clear, plastic container, with a black twist-off lid. The label for this product is also pretty with pictures of oranges and mangoes. The second I took the lid off, I put a huge amount onto my hands and started rubbing it all over my body. You do not need a lot of this product; I had trouble rubbing it in due to using too much.

I have extremely sensitive skin, and in the past, products with strong scents have made me break out in rashes. I have not had a single issue while using this product. I’m assuming it’s from the fact that this is a natural Dead Sea product. I look forward to trying every scent of the Venus Body Butter.

The scent for this product stays on my skin for hours. Products that have strong scents usually give me a headache, but not this product. I will definitely be buying this product in the future. The texture of this product reminded me of that of sour cream, Cool Whip, etc. With this product, it is easy to get the perfect amount that you need. After a couple of uses, you will be better at getting the right amount without having trouble rubbing this in.

I have not used this product during a massage yet, but I will be trying it due to the soft, yet thick, consistency. The ingredients of this are as follows: Aqua, Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Tea, Actyl Palmitate, Ceteareth 20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Steareth 30, Ceteth 10, Vitamin E, Carbomer, Methyl Paraben, Diazolidinyl Urea, and Fragrance. This product may also contain: Fd&c yellow 3, Fd&c blue 1, and Fd&c red 33.

This is still one of my favorite products on this site. I am almost out of this, so I can't wait for them to be back in stock, so I can try all the scents. I will do another follow-up after I try some different scents.
