Dona shaving cream is pretty versatile, and the more I use mine, the more uses I am finding for this product. It can be used as a shaving cream for your legs, armpits, his beard and other areas that need a touch up with a razor. I used this as a hair conditioner and really loved the results!! It made my hair soft, manageable and shiny. This morning I accidentally grabbed this instead of the body wash and really like the clean feeling and the softness it added to my skin. Overall, this is a very useful and functional product.

If you have any allergies or have sensitive skin, read the ingredients list before using this gel. There are so many allergen producing ingredients in products today, that it is hard to pinpoint just one component that may cause a reaction. I have sensitive skin but had no issues with this shaving gel.

The Shaving Gel is a very thick, yellow tinted see through gel. It stays in place until rubbed over the body area you are going to shave and will lather up a bit. For shaving, there is a slick and smooth white lather that is super fine. When I use it as a conditioner or as a cleanser on my skin, the lather is definitely more pronounced, especially if my shower pouf is used.

This pours easily out of the dispenser top on the bottle when you gently squeeze, and getting the right amount is pretty easy. Just let up from squeezing and the flow stops, this is much better than the thinner gels or even the creams in a can.

This feels very slick, smooth and sensual against your skin. There is no greasy or oily residue left on your skin after rinsing it off, but it does make your skin feel slick while wet and soft after toweling off. I did notice the debris came easily off the razor, so it does not gum my razor up like other creams have. I hate gummy razors!!

The aroma is very refreshing and pleasant. The Blue Lotus starts out smelling like freshly pureed cucumbers and gently blends into a light and sensual Lily of the Valley aroma. While the floral tone is the most apparent, you can still get a light whiff of the fresh cucumber aroma behind the Lily of the Valley fragrance.

This is one of the Dona products that allows the scent to linger!! It is very light and appealing--not powerful or overly strong. I do get a headache with many scents, but this one just floats gently on your skin, teasing you with the occasional waft of flowers.

I love the smell of the Blue Lotus Shave Cream in my hair when I use it as a conditioner. It floats gently with me for hours and is not overly perfumey or chemical smelling, the way most conditioners can be. Overall, this shave cream is one of my absolute favorite products in the Dona Line.

SHAVING GEL: This is a great shaving gel, allows for a close shave and does not gum up your razor or plug it up. I have used many shaving creams and gels and this one out performs most of them by a long ways!! I do recommend getting a shaving powder for afterwards to prevent rashes. Always make sure you use a very sharp razor-duller ones tend to leave ingrown hairs, razor burn and rashes due to the tugging on the hair versus the cutting ability of a new one.

HAIR CONDITIONER: A small amount will do nicely. Rub the gel into your hair, this will form a bit of a lather. Let it set for about 1-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Enjoy the refreshing aroma as it is nourishing your strands, this is a great mood enhancer and really makes me feel refreshed and relaxed. I do recommend using this only about once per month due to the hair growth reducing properties this shaving gel claims to contain.

SKIN CONDITIONER/CLEANSER: I felt very clean after accidentally using this as a body wash. I did notice it added an overall slickness and softness to my skin after rinsing off. I am definitely going to use this after the body wash every time I bathe!

The shaving gel arrives in a plastic bottle with a pop up lid dispenser. You do need to remove the foil seal on the opening of the bottle prior to use. Replace the lid, press down on one side and squeeze the bottle gently to pour.

This has the trademark Dona lace label and the name of the aphrodisiac is running vertically up one side on a thin strip. The bottle is pretty discreet and I feel comfortable leaving it out in my bathroom. You get a generous amount, 9.5 ounces and since a small amount will cover a larger area, it should last quite awhile.
