Dona shave gel - shaving gel by System JO - review by Lady Neshamah

Every one of these reviews i say that I struggle with razor burn. Always have, probably always will.

I picked up Dona Shave Gel in the hopes that this would work for me. I have loved these products so I was really hoping this would work. It comes in a segmented pop top bottle that is 9.5 ounces. It comes in Acai, Blue lotus, Camu camu, Goji berry, Mangosteen, and Pomegranate. I picked up the Goji Berry one. It is made out of Purified Water (Aqua), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Glycerin, Isopropyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Carbomer, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Phenoxyethanol, and Fragrance.

Thank the gods, praise to God, or praise who have you believe in this stuff works. It actually cut down my razor burn extremely and on levels that I've never had with anything else or any combination of things.

It comes out a bottle almost like, well, mucus. It has very very weird and almost unpleasant texture to. Not actually repulsive, but kind unpleasant or funky. So just be aware that if you've got a thing for texture you may not want to deal with this.

However, it works. If you could pass the funky texture, it really work wonderfully. It goes on to the skin very very smoothly and very very naturally. The smell of it is fantastic. It doesn't hold on the skin very well at all. But it's shave cream and it really shouldn't hold on and I don't know if anybody really wants to smell like flowers or food that much down there unless you're using floral or flavored lubes.

But it only takes a little bit of it to go along way. This bottle lasted me for months, seriously. Just a drop in the hand about the size nickel and you can do your entire bikini line and intimate area.

So it lasts a long time and works wonderfully. So worth the price.
