Dona shave gel is fantastic for getting a close shave anywhere on your body! Dona is appropriate for males as well as females, if they can get past the feminine packaging. It can be used on legs, armpits, arms, public hair, facial hair, or anywhere else you need it.

The shave gel is just that, a gel. It has a normal consistency for most gels but retains its state as a gel more than other shaving gels I have used. With most products I have tried, shaving gel quickly turns white and lathers very easily. This shave gel is a bit different in the way that it lathers. It does lather a bit, but acts more like a thicker body wash than a shaving cream. However, it is super slick and smooth to shave over.

There is no greasy or oily feeling to this shaving gel, only a clean and fresh feeling. It washes off very easily in the shower. While a lot of shaving products tend to dry out the skin, Dona's seems to moisturize and condition the skin quite well.

I love Pomegranate, so I had to try this scent out first. While it's not what I was expecting for this scent, it is absolutely lovely. The scent is light and relaxing and lingers on skin for a little bit after a shower or bath.

I did not taste this product, and I don't suggest you do. As delicious as this smells, this is an external-only use product that should not be consumed.

This product provides a surprisingly close shave and pleasant feeling after using. I paired this with a disposable razor and got a really nice, close shave with velvety smoothness. Like I said in the texture section of this review, this gel seems to moisturizer my skin while others dry it out.

I am very happy with the results of this Dona product and will continue using it for all shaving areas.

Dona products are packaged in bottles with this adorable lace design. The shaving gel is a light blue bottle with darker blue lace over it. I absolutely love the packaging for this.

If you're worried about discreetness, this bottle does say "aphrodisiac" on it but the text on the bottle does not stand out much. You will have to really attempt to read it to see what it says.



The bottle has a pop-up dispenser for the gel, unlike most shaving products that are dispensed by aerosol or a push-button. To dispense this product, simply push down on the cap and squeeze the bottom.

At 9.5 ounces, this bottle isn't suitable for US airline travel, but it is small enough to easily bring on trips that don't require two-ounce limits on gels and liquids. Since it is a squeeze bottle, you can always squeeze some into a smaller bottle for traveling by plane.

The bottle says this product has an aphrodisiac effect. While I do love it, I wouldn't say I lust for it. Personally, I can't support this claim as their products had no sexual effect on me.
